CASTLES IN THE SAND
What is it that I feel inside me?
I've tried to write, I've just let it be.
As I look in the mirror, an empty look upon my face.
Please why won't you take me, to another place?
No more people, no more test.
Just leave me alone, I need some rest.
My mind is so terribly scattered.
You look at me, and ask me what's the matter.
The city has become to much.
I'm very sensitive to the touch.
Life lessons can be very draining.
I'd like to see where I signed up for this training!
I'm tired, tested and true.
Why do I sit here and feel so blue.
I don't understand you, and you don't understand me.
My Spirit is so sadden my heart will never be free.
The scars that are left behind ache with a pain.
The words you spoke are lefted like a bad stain.
High and mighty you think you might be.
Be careful for life has a way of making you see.
Just when you think you know it all,
Is where you begin to learn, get ready for a fall.
What do you think this life is about, all this shit?
Take it all away, take everything, with one big hit?
Such a lovely world we live in today.
Be very careful, for what you say!
The look in my eyes is deep.
For all the lies you leave behind I weep.
I don't want to play little games.
I just want friends that are the same.
I may seem hard and cold to you, and push you away.
Maybe some bad words, then you'll jugde me on what I say.
So human without a choice.
Open up inside, can't you hear that voice.
So ignorant, you walk away from me.
For what is it you see?
Tears of an Angel, I'll give you a hand.
Maybe one day, we can built castles in the sand.
