What a month and a half it's been. All of September I was sick. Lost my voice and 10lbs. Yeah on the 10lbs, but ugg on the voice. Although if you ask my boys they would have said it was nice...lol. On top of being sick, I still had to keep up doctor appointments and all, which made it harder to bounce back.

My straightening iron fried, so I've been dealing with this wild crazy hair of mine in all this humidity until I can get the money to go and get me another one. That's what I get for paying $15 at Walmart several months ago and using it every day....lol. Next one will be better that's for sure. Can't wait until the girl who cuts my hair tries either a dark brown or a burgundy on the strip of hair she cut from me a month ago. Maybe I can get more than just black in my hair. Got to say one thing, my hair sure doesn't like holding any other color but it loves the black.....lol.

Then my computer went down, which was driving me nuts. Walked in one day and the computer was off. First I thought we had a power outage, but when I got to looking everything else was ok. Tried turning the computer back on and there was this loud static noise and spark from the back of the computer.......uh oh. It was my power supply that had gone out. Checked all around and they wanted anywhere from $30 on up for a new one. Thankfully my friend Nikki's husband, Ken, was able to find me one on New Egg for $10 plus $10 tax and shipping......yeah. He talked me over the phone on how to hook it back up. At first I thought maybe my computer was fried, so he had me going through all the connections and found out two wires for the power button was loose, and when I barely touched them they fell off. Because of my fat chubby fingers I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers and a magnifying glass in order to get them hooked back in. Man let me tell ya, I was shaking like a leaf too. I was afraid I was going to touch something I shouldn't and fry the whole system, or get an electric shock....lol. Sorry Ken for blowing your ear drums when I screamed and laugh when the thing finally booted up....lol. I was like a little kid on Christmas morning when I had lights and action....lol. Too bad I was too tired and busy to enjoy my computer that night...lol.

The boys and I are doing great. Just been busy cleaning up a months worth of clothes that never got put away and house cleaning that never got done. Was way too weak to do anything last month. We are just lucky I was able to wash the laundry, fix the boys something to eat and get them to school and our appointments. Thought for sure I was going to end up in the hospital. The 10lbs I had lost was in 2 days which wasn't good at all. Hopefully I can keep them off.

I have been going through stuff for a yard sale my sister-in-law and I are going to have in 2wks and came across several pairs of pants. Another 5-10 lbs and I will be able to get into my good black dress pants.....yeah. Found a brand new pair of caprees with the tag still on them last week and tried them on. I was finally able to get them up over my big butt and fasten them. Wen to wear them today and now I have to go out and buy a belt if I wish to wear them. They are about 2 inches too big in the waist and the butt is saggy......yeah. Keep coming off weight and please don't find me again....lol.

Well, if I'm going to be able to sleep in my bed tonight, I need to finish cleaning it off and get the clean linen back on it and finish a few things around here before calling it a night. Still have the computer room to go through and clean and get rid of more stuff for the yard sale. Thinking about going through my room again along with the boys toys too.
