RK Says Controversial BBC Assassination Documentary "Irresponsible, Inflamatory Filmmaking"

Robert Kramer is calling on the filmmakers of the controversial documentary "Death Of A President", in which he  appeared as an extra in a scene depicting the assassination of
President George W. Bush to re-edit the film and cut his image out.

."I dont need or want that kind of publicity haunting me." says Kramer. He came to this decision after discovering the filmmakers edited out the actors head who was portraying President Bush, and digitally replaced it with Bushes' own head.   "Had I known they were going to do that, I would have never agreed to appear in the film.." Kramer continues.

The British documentary, which is yet to be shown at The Toronto Film Festival this weekend and later this month on the BBC,  has already caused a stir with various critics who state the film encourages violence and might cause copycat attempts on the Presidents' life.  In addition, both republican and democrats have been quoted as saying the premise of the film is in extremely "poor taste".

"They weren't looking to make a serious documentary, it was all a cheap, misleading publicity stunt to promote a film for their own enrichment.. Don't we have enough trouble in the world without creating fictional scenarios to give people even more ideas of how to hurt each other? Haven't we had enough of that?? I am made to wonder how England would respond to an American filmmaker depicting the assassination of Tony Blair or The Queen, using THEIR own heads in the film."

The film company has, as yet, failed to respond  and are unable to be reached for further comment.
