PERSEVERANCE - James 5:11 - "As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy". - James 1:4 - "Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" GOSSIP - Leviticus 19:16 - "Do not spread slanderous gossip among your people. [ Hebrew Do not act as a merchant toward your own people.] "Do not try to get ahead at the cost of your neighbor's life, for I am the LORD INDIFFERENCE - James 2:16 - "If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? " - 1 John 3:17 - If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him God's solemn warning in Revelation 14 leaves no room for indifference. ENVY - Proverbs 14:30 - "A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones". - James 3:16 - "For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice". - 1 Peter 2:1 - "Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind".
