Started as admiration, turned into a devotion

Birds began chirping,
Flowers went blooming,
And the angels started singing,
I may sound a bit cliché,
But honest as I am, can’t blame me for trying.

When you came into my sight,
I felt a thousand of galloping horses;
Came across with my heart,
And honestly, I couldn’t help but tell the truth;
I was stunned by you, guilty as charged.

Your features are captivating,
Your voice is overwhelming,
And your smile can be that of a god,
It‘s utterly unbearable, in a good way;
And I can’t help but admire you.

Clearly as it is, I can’t help but to just get a glimpse at you,
And smile because of your little ways,
And that it is enough to make the god of love, cupid, quit his job
Curse the heavens and blame the spark,
I can’t help but admire you and that is that.

Time passed by and seasons changed,
Everything became new,
But my feelings for you still remained true,
And I can’t help but panic, As the galloping horses who came before,
Came back frequently and intensified even more.

I became so passionate for you,
That I sometimes forget the things I’ m supposed to do,
But I honestly don’t care if I miss those things, As long as I see you;
You have gotten both in my mind and heart,
I’m so reckless but I don’t really care because I am literally so in love with you.

The admiration I once felt,
Is now gone,
And a new feeling came,
It’s called devotion,
And it made a commotion.
