Mr Christos efs Dimakis
Christos Dimakis was born in Serres .He has studied composure
and piano at Athens and Hamburg.
His well known performances are at 1993 Camerata of the Music Academy of Gratz
(Austria),at November 1997 national radio in Athens ERA3 live concert, at
April 1998 television ERT3 in Thessaloniki piano concert, February 2000 national
television ERT1, April 2000 Concert Modern Music at Concervatoir in Athens
(Orphio), July 2000 Concert to Munchen plays his sonata 1 "Salvator Kirche",
at 2001 Municipal of Venice (march-april) 6 concerts of Chamber Music. Also
at April 2002 at Venice 4 concerts for piano and string quartet. The Steinway
Haus company in Munchen presented his compositions for piano and cello at
September 2004.
His compositions have been played by the National Symphonic Orchestra of ERT
S.A , the National Orchestra of Athens and National Orchestra of Thessaloniki.
He has composed music for 25 ancient Greek plays .
He has been two times awarded with the 1st "Synthesis" award at
1987 (Thessaloniki) and 1992 (Athens). He is the writer of four books about
the piano and symphonic music and string quartet. His compositions have been
presented by the Deutsche Welle radio in world broadcasting. More, the National
Hellenic Radio (ERT S.A) has broadcasted a full live performance of his. He
has also writen an opera play "Olympiada Filippos". At 2002 the
Music Studies section of the Aristoteleio University of Thessaloniki has presented
his work two times.
He has been awarded (1998) for his books with the "Honour" of the
Goeteborg Music Academy .He is teaching music in schools and Concervatoirs
also runs Synthesis Seminars in Greece.
