Short-Term
Temporary:
It's
8:45 in the morning and you just learned that your receptionist is
out sick. Give us a call! We have a
number of candidates who have made themselves available for
same-day emergency assignments. If you are able to
anticipate a short-term staffing need, such as when a co-worker
takes vacation time or when you have an upcoming project, let us
help you by sending a hard-working, qualified individual to fill
in the gap. These individuals are available to work on assignments
from one day to one month.
Temp-To-Hire:
arrangement
allows an employee and a company to work together without a
binding commitment. Temp-to-hire offers companies flexibility and
leverage when seeking to fill a full-time position. In a typical
temp-to-hire situation, we submit candidates to a company for
consideration. After interviews, the selected candidate begins
working in the client company while remaining on our payroll.
After a probationary period, typically lasting for several weeks,
the client company is free to convert the employee directly to
their payroll. The candidate and the company are each able to
terminate the arrangement for any reason prior to conversion.
Direct
Hire:
We
work with a large number of individuals who are seeking permanent
positions with companies. Typically, these persons are
highly qualified, mid-to-upper level managers who
are currently employed but seek career growth. If you have an

administrative and clerical to logistics and transportation.
Employee Screening:
We
carefully screen our applicants to identify capable and qualified
individuals to work for you. When we meet with new applicants, we
start by assessing their skills and identifying their strengths.
Then we talk with them at length about their backgrounds, their
interests, and their goals. We ask them whether they feel better
suited to multitasking or assigned projects, whether they prefer a
more traditional or a more informal corporate culture, whether
they prefer hi-tech or nonprofit businesses--and we use that
information in our placements. Instead of matching resumes with
job descriptions, we match real people with real jobs. You, our
client, can be assured that the employee we send you is aware of
the responsibilities and duties of your position--and that he or
she is qualified to perform those duties in an efficient,
professional manner. Each applicant that visits our office
completes a detailed application. The applicant provides
information on their employment history, education level, and
skill set. During the interview, we attempt to assess not only the
candidate’s skill level, but also qualities about their
personality. The applicant must also agree to our policies and
procedures, as well as all safety guidelines.
Testing:
We
test applicants on a variety of skills for clerical placements.
Clerical Test – Two pages of questions to evaluate the applicant
'
s filing, alphabetizing, mathematics, and error identification
skills. Quiz Software – Computerized system to evaluate
the applicant
'
s abilities in the following areas: Word Processing, Spreadsheets,
Databases, Presentation packages, Data Entry and Ten Key, Typing
Speed, etc.
Reference Checking:
Every applicant authorizes us to contact a
previous employer for detailed written feedback about his or her
skills and performance. The reference is a very important part of
our applicant evaluation. We use this information to identify the
most suitable candidate to send to you. Checking references helps
to prevent bad work habits from recurring again with one of our
clients.
Background Checks:
In addition, comprehensive
background checks are available upon request. Clients may elect to
request investigations of local criminal records, educational
background, and formal employment verification. Additional charges
may apply when these services are requested.
Drug Screening:
We are a drug free work environment. Our Workers Compensation
Company requires us to advise all applicants over the phone about
our drug screen policy. The applicant is also required to sign a
statement on the application agreeing to drug free policy.
Processing Payroll:
We complete payroll on a weekly basis for all temporary
candidates. We further pay all payroll tax charges. The client is
then invoiced on a weekly basis for all temps working at their
site the previous week.
