Welcome to dim:8's review of Windows Longhorn 2005.

Some time ago, the code for the upcoming Microsoft's Windows named Windows Longhorn™ became available on the Web. I had the chance to try the BETA version of this Windows (built 2500) a month ago and lately I have installed on my system a fix patch file. In few days I will be able to present you my impressions of this new Operating system. Although it may look like Windows XP on the first look, when you look at some details that have changed you realise that it is a completely new OS. the core of the OS is different and more stable (as Microsoft claims-doesn't they always???) with a lot of innovations. I am telling you as an interface-geek I was slightly impressed with some od the new features and skins.
