2600 DOUBLE DRAGON, SOUND CHIP

DOUBLE DRAGON

When I first played the Atari 2600 version of Double Dragon, I was amazed at how the background music sounded as it did on the Atari 7800, and NES verson's.

I decided to open the game cartrige up, and discovered that their's a independed sound chip, attached to the game cartrige rom.

Upon closer view of the chip, you can see detailed craftsmenship of the chip itself.

As for the game play itself, it takes time to master player movements, but overall, it's fun kicking some butt on the Atari 2600!
