A. EDUCATION

1. Prayer in schools.

2. Establish and fund parent groups in school district.

3. Put the old primer book back in schools by using the James H. Meredith's reading and writing method.

4. Train Teachers to use more psychological discipline methods.

5. Encourage more library projects for student study.

6. Establish computer parent groups in school districts.

B. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR THE 2ND DISTRICT

1. Set up and develop poor people corporations in each county. To oversee and decide what economic developmental projects would bring economic progress to their county by using the talent and resources available.

2. Develop agricultural projects and others to be sold on the world-wide market.

3. Study oil and gas resources in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and Mexico to reduced gas prices.

4. Research other lucrative plant growing possibilities.

5. Create economic parity for small farmers in the world-wide market.

C. HEALTHCARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY

1. Senior citizens over 65 - free medical care and free prescription - measure on ability to pay.

2. Speedy Social Security benefits for the disabled worker.

3. Preventative healthcare by using educational healthcare methods.

D. TERM LIMITS FOR LEGISLATORS

1. Not more than 8 years - same as our governors and presidents.

E. CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM

1. To support legislation to ensure poor people participation.

F. CIVIL RIGHTS WORKER BILL

1. To provide a bill for the Civil Rights Soldiers of the 60's. These people went through undue stress, some were killed. It's only fair that we establish a Civil Rights Bill to provide housing, jobs, loans, and medical benefits to these families for helping us straighten the unjust mess that this country was in before the 1960's.

2. I will propose a bill similar to the Veterans Bill of Rights to show our country's appreciation to these soldiers of the 60's and their families.

G. CRIMINAL JUSTICE

1. To overhaul the criminal justice system, so poor people will get fair and equitable justice.

2. To establish a legal defense system and a legal defense fund for poor people who are charged with frivolous charges.

3. To combat police brutality and racial profiling (in jail or out of jail) - white or black.

4. To establish community police review boards, appointed by the people served in the precincts.

5. To support the release of all non-violent drug offenders and establish a rehabilitation program to put them back in the society as productive citizens.

H. TORT REFORM

1. I believe that when companies, doctors, and businesses are sued, the consumer ends up paying the bill. For instance, when the tobacco companies got sued the price of cigarettes went up double in price. Only a HANDFUL of ATTORNEYS got rich and the rest of us poor people got the bill.

2. When doctors are sued, insurance premiums skyrocket.

I. WELFARE REFORM

1. Provide Child Care for working parents.

2. Give a two year grace period before removing welfare benefits.

3. Discontinue collection agencies for black fathers. When money is collected, the mother and child receive nothing.

4. Provide a low-cost vehicle to qualified welfare recipients - based on ability to pay (must be employed).
