I are a WE; she and me; a COUPLE. Live in Denver, 47 & 38 respectively. We are solid stable denizens of middle age (but not too solid or stable). Soon to be empty nester's (1 yr. if teenagers actually grow up) :-) I always dislike these little intros....We are odd, eclectic, rather normal in a lot of respects, definably OUT of the norm in others. We like dining, drinking, talking, philosophizing, wondering, watching, creating, writing, observing, learning, trying, growing. We are mutually dedicated to figuring out the human condition this time around.(reincarnation) I did say eclectic. Spiritually, we are sort of odd as well. We did the new- age, Christian, pagan, agnostic, humanist stuff and came to some very interesting conclusions. All roads lead to the center, the difficulty of the trip is up to you, as is the route. The best you can do is follow the golden rule, and stay out of your own way. Share insight when asked, meditate on your concept of the divine, help the helpless, feed the hungry, exercise mercy and compassion tempered with your ideal of justice and most importantly be comfortable in your own head. You may be wondering about the "couple" designation. That's what we are. That shouldn't be confused with being "swingers", amoral, cheats, or what ever...The actual term is Polyamorus. Literally meaning more than "one" "love" We reject the prevailing paradigm's contention that people can only love one person at a time. In fact, the human heart is able to love vastly, it is Homo Sapiens's greatest gift...the ability to love and be loved. It's the head that tends to gets in the way. |

| A She. Bi-sexual, Spiritually inclined, talkative (anything but small talk, yech) You are between 25 - 45 probably come from a large family and appreciate it's importance. You are likely tired of "dating" "hunting" and all that garbage and are looking for some solid, quiet, odd :-) friends. Your goal is a long standing "alternative" relationship. You are likely not married, but not opposed to the concept, likely you are considered odd and a bit quirky by friends, content to be the proverbial square peg in a world of round holes. You are spiritually inclined and avoid religious dogma with zest. You are artistic and willing to teach and share your talents. You like kids and hope to have some of your own some day. You are kind, empathetic, strong, self realized, employed. Maybe you practice Yoga (any form) and may be accomplished. (you know the definition of "yoga") you're fat, skinny, in shape, out of shape, tall, short, dark, light...get my point? It's about the furniture in the house, not the building. You dislike argument and are content to disagree without the psychological need to attack. Obviously you share some of the same qualities we posses and are open to the idea sharing you differences You don't play games, of all these "requisites" (another yech) self realized is the greatest. You want to hang out, do dinner, catch flicks; those artsy mushy ones as well as the out and out gratuitous garbage Hollywood is so fond of; you like cheesy neighborhood bars cause you like to observe, shoot some pool;like to drink; wouldn't freak at the suggestion of a body shot, because you don't have a problem with "public displays"; You like to explore the hyperdimension of the mind, and know what that means.You like all things ethnobotanical, and know what that means :- ) You like sitting in VI late, talking, thinking, observing. You are alternating wild and outlandish, shy and reserved. You have it in you to be a true friend to us both, perhaps more. |
