UK design students Joie de Winter and Michael Leung designed the 72 degrees shelf for a very specific teenage needthe need to secret a porn stash away from the prying eyes of parents, siblings and visitors.

The shelf has a secret compartment built-in that can only be opened with a ring. Named after the average angle of a healthy erection, 72 degrees is also cleverly the angle the secret compartment opens up to.

You may need a degree in higher math to understand the assembly instructions, but once you get the PhD out of the way, the BioWall looks pretty cool. First you bend fiberglass rods make rings, then you use the rings to make dodecahedrons (Ill save you the Google - thats 12-sides) that are used to assemble the final wall. The structure is based on the natural assembly of bubbles, cells and water molecules and is built by hand to any size or shape you desire. Looking at the final product, I think it is safe to say that none of the developers had cats. A room bounded by a BioWall should only ever contain the Anima Causa Feel Seating System

The Anima Causa Feel Seating System is made of 120 elastic fabric-covered balls that move around with you, changing their form with what the designer calls the emotional state of the body. Inspired by molecular structures, it can be arranged in a nearly unlimited number of positions. Fold it up into a seat, lay it flat as a bed, or wrap it around you. Looks like fun. Check out the animation on the companys website. If you want to know how much it costs, well, theyll get back to you.
