Okay, I looked at the third issue. Manananggal is ICKY! hehehehe :P I can't remember where he saw the tikbalang anymore but wasn't that just in one panel in the other issue? Can't recall. Or is the tikbalang that guy who was sneaking up on him in the first issue? Sorry, my idea of a tikbalang is the horsehead so now I'm confused. Does multiple names mentioned about it in the third issue mean that there are different bodies?

Gabe's talking out loud? Isn't there anybody on the street with him? Does anybody else see the Manananggal? Have to say again that manananggal is ICKY!!! :P Phone call bit was okay but nothing came out of it because Gabe got distracted.

Oh, saw the "letter's page". Oh, so 'uses' wasn't drug users. Okay. Yeah, guess you're building up the story. So you're basing characters on real people again? Catharsis? I'm not too big a fan of that really but it depends on up to what depth you're projecting it on. Me as a character? Yikes! That'd be neat but I'd probably end up dead :( heheheh :P

As to the Tikbalang, yes in this version I made them pretty much shapechangers and not just your typical centaurian creature. Gives them more flavor than the usual tigidig-tigidig mythos.

Icky manananggal? Thanks! Glad to see you found her disturbing. I wanted to get that effect.

Catharsis? Not really. Though almost everyone in the book has a real-life basis, none of them are meant to represent the source. Rather, I liked having a foundation to build the idea of the character on. Makes them seem more alive.
