COMMENTS on ISSUE SEVEN
 McPiglet Speaks!

Hello Tobie,
#7 issue. ala Trip to Tagaytay title?
I admit it, the title was a nod toward's Arnold Arre's Trip to Tagaytay. There are actually other nods to other local creators in the book.
-carabao!!!!!!!!!!!!
-oooh, I don't know anything about Siquijor except it was suppose to be the site of an Asian Survivor.
My childhood was filled with references to Siquijor as a magical and frightening land where aswang townsfolk attempt to feed you human livers. Eat one and you're one of them forever.
-the P20 peso bill looks weird! LOL!
-ooooh pretty girl! and pretty flowers! pretty picture!
-oooh crud. what happened? the narrator is the manananggal?
-335 channels in the US? Wow! heheheh BTW, I feel sorry for the girl now. :(
Its funny how many forgot that she was a character as well. Especially since issue 1 opened with her in the focus.
-Town of Maria in Siquijor? Then in Madrid? Huh? Where did the guy come from? Maria or Madrid?
-computer generated slipper shadow!
-the evil man is sick. >:(
-am realizing this is just a side story to the whole thing.
-page 123. Who's the 'she' in 'she intimately knows the meaning of the word: trapped'? BTW, sex. bleah.
By issue eight, you should realise that the mananaggal relates with the trapped feelings Bambi is undergoing.
-waaaaaah! poor girl :( and yes, we don't even know her name.
-ooooh! who's dead? I saw the page with Rich standing and Dyan on the floor but I'm not going to look for it right now. Nice that the 'girl who can't be seen' carries on. That's pretty cool.
Overall, great storytelling on the mananaggal. Poor girl! :( It's playing with emotions but it's cool. It's also a side story but a well done side story. Let's get back to the plot! monstermonstermonster! (even though the tikbalang is an evil one)
BTW, this is the third straight prose, captions writing technique issue. (And it's another female too) How long will it continue?
Well, I admit, I am better with prose than sequential storytelling. And my approach to dialogue works better in theater than in comics, so do bear with me. Learning the ropes with every issue. I would like to think my work has gone a way forward compared to issue one.
Next issue!

K!

Thank you always for your feedback! Independent comic creators such as my self thrive on feedback and reactions for inspiration at times. Its readers like you who keep us working on them. THANK YOU!

Share your thoughts too!
Here are comments on the comic before the guestbook got up and running. Evidently, I like the idea they're kinda like letters to a published comic, so here they are for all to read (with my replies when appropriate.)

 Ciderview project

Ok, I'm reading Diliman and it's awesome. (I was also eating pan sit, too, but I finished it, I love that stuff!). Dennis needs to use the computer, so I'll have to finish Diliman later (I only read the first chapter). I'm putting links to your sites on mine, let me know if my descriptions are wrong.
Thanks,
Michael

I decided to just post one of the MANY emails Mike and I have been sending each other. Michael has his own comic, the Ciderview project, which I highly recommend you people check out. His comic flows like the movie American Beauty and has a touch of detail and emotion unseen in other online comic books. His first issue should be out by July. Do contact him and order an issue today!

 Very Hardcore!

I looked at you stuff too, very hardcore! (in a good way!) youve got a pretty awesome handle on page composition..! thats pretty rare! keep up the good work, ill be checking for updates!
Jason

Have to admit, Hardcore was not a word I ever thought would be associated with my junk. Still, a compliment is always a compliment! THANK YOU! :-) Jason here also has his own online comic, the Littlest Curmudgeon which you might want to check out. Be warned, its not for the closed(closeted) minded.

 Flashbacks?

hi tobie, i read it and i liked it. medyo naguluhan lang ako ng konti kasi dahil dun sa flashback scenes. (meron nga ba? hehe). ok, galing pero bitin.
ner

Of course its bitin! Of course I didn't give everything away! How will I get you all to come back for the next issue if it wasn't? Hehehehe.. And I have to admit, the confusing flashbacks was partly intentional. Not all references made clear in an earlier issue shall be discovered to be accurate in due time. Thank you for the support man! And do tell me if you want me to promote your comic book.
