1369 - The Year of the Gauntlet

Hammer (January) 1

    Some time later, Jinol casted the spell on the doorway and opened the portal.
     I said, �I�ll go through, while you work on the permanence spell.� So, I entered the portal, and found myself at the Talon�s Tavern.
     I met Fox again, and some other clan members. I met one person by the name of Alec. Alec was a vampire prince. He went to the small lake by the Tavern.
     I followed him to the lake.
     Alec went into the water, and I followed him. He splashed me with water, and I pulled him under water.
     We played in the lake for a while. After we got out, I decided to leave.

     I walked west again to the town across the lake. I went inside a tavern and sat down at the bar to have a drink.
     After a while, I left the tavern, and saw Sinlon, walking to another building. I walked up to him.
     Sinlon turned around, �Dilan, how did you get here?�
     �My first trip, I had Kynlin�s help, but he tried to trap me here, but Jinol got me out.�
     �Where�s Jinol?�
     �He�s in Faerun. We�ll see him tomorrow when he gets here. He�ll need to rest after casting spells. And he needs to study the spell to get us home.�
     �Good, I�ve been in this weird place too long.�
     We started walking, I said, �We have things to do before Jinol gets here.�
     Me and Sinlon gathered wood to construct another portal doorway, and went towards the Talon�s Tavern to build it.
     We got it built and slept in the woods that night.

Hammer (January) 2

    The next day, Jinol came through the portal and I met him at the tavern entrance. I took him to where me and Sinlon slept.
     Jinol and Sinlon were happy to see each other. Jinol cast the portal spell and the permanency spell on the doorway, While me and Sinlon hallowed out a huge tree to place and hide the portal. Jinol also cast a spell to connect this portal to the one in Faerun, which he read from a scroll.
     We went back to Faerun.

Hammer (January) 5

    A few days later, I decided to visit that world again. I entered the tavern and there were more people in there.
     I met an elf named, Lauranna Silvanesti. I could sense depressed emotions coming from her.
     She left the tavern and went for a walk, and I decided to follow her to make sure she was safe.

     I followed her to an abandoned town and into a house, barely standing. She told me this is the house she grew up in. her emotions were hitting me so hard, I had to sit down on the floor.
     Laura went into another room and came out with a small wooden box in her hand. When she opened the box, she pulled out a flute.
     She used it when she was younger, before this town was destroyed.
     I gathered my strength to get up and we left and went back to the tavern.

     I left to go back to Faerun and met up with Sinlon and Jinol. I told them about my trip to the Talons.
     I got a message from my brother, Ranger, saying he needed help with a mission, so we all went to meet him in Shadowdale.
