Mirtul (May) 18

    I traveled east, knowing Kynlin would be in Zhentil Keep. I meet back up with Sinlon and Jinol. We spend five years looking for Kynlin.
     We finally find him. I said "Where's Thorlan?"
     Kynlin said "I learned a new spell. I sent him to another realm."
     I said "Where?" Kynlin said "I'm not quite sure, but he's out of my hair now."
     I said "Bring him back, now!"
     Kynlin said "I can't, I don't know where he is. But even if I did, why would I do it?" Kynlin starts casting a spell.
     Sinlon changes to a wererat, and charges at him.
     Kynlin finished the spell and hit Sinlon with it.
     Sinlon disappeared in a flash of light.
     Jinol said "No!"
     Kynlin said "See, I have perfected the spell. I know where I sent the little hairball."
     I charged at Kynlin with anger.
     Kynlin said "Not today. Meet me in Baldur's Gate on the day before Yule. You can go find your friends." Then Kynlin disappeared.
     I said "I'll be there."

Nightal (December) 24

    Me and Jinol made it to Baldur's Gate, on the day before Yule. I met dad at the gate. I said "Hey, you've never met me at the gate before."
     Dad said "You received an unsigned message." Dad gave me the message.
     I read it. "I have to meet him at the docks."
     Dad said "Who?"
     I said "Walk with me." As we walk to the docks, I told dad about my troubles with Kynlin. As we arrive, we find Kynlin in an alley, casting a spell. I yelled "Kynlin!"
     Kynlin finishes the spell and turns around. "Hey Dilan, you bring me another victim?"
     I said "Bring back my friends now!"
     Kynlin said "Not to worry, you'll see them soon enough." Kynlin stands to the side, reveiling a portal. "They're in there."
     I turned to my father. "Go home and tell everyone, I'll see them later."
     Dad said "You can't go in there alone."
     Jinol said "He's not, I'm going with him."
     I said "No, I have to do this alone. I have to find my friends."
     Jinol said "Sinlon is my friend too."
     I put a hand on Jinol's shoulder. "I know, but someone has to be here in case something goes wrong. If everything turns out fine, then follow me." Jinol agreed.
     Dad said "Ok, but your mother will kill me." Dad left.
     I walked up to the portal "How do I know this won't kill me?"
     Kynlin said "I don't want to kill you, Dilan. I enjoy making you squirm too much, just as you do me. If one of us dies, we won't have the fun anymore."
     I said "I can always find another zhent."
     Kynlin said "True, but it wouldn't be as much fun."
     I said "True." I get closer to the portal "If I die, I'm coming back for you."
     Kynlin said "I wouldn't expect any less." with a smile.
     I said "Well here we go." I stepped through the portal. I found myself standing in front of a tavern. The sign over the door reads: "Talon's Tavern" I decided to walk in.
