Flamerule (July) 3

    When we got there, we were shown into a room where Mourngrym was waiting. "I'm glad you could come Dilantik and Milo. Elminster wanted me to give you something. He's been watching you for a while and he is impressed with your talents."
     I said "Why would Elminster be watching me?"
     Mourngrym said "He always keeps an eye on his harpers..."
     I turned to look at Milo, since I knew he was the one Mourngrym was talking about. Mourngrym continued "...He was watching Milo and Kessinda, and got interested with you. He made this decision because you decided to come to Shadowdale to help with the zhentarium threat." Mourngrym handed me a harper's badge and said "You are now a harper."
     After a few seconds I said "Thanks, I'll do my best."
     Mourngrym said "That's good. You're free to go now."
     Me and Milo left Mourngrym's office and decided to go to Waterdeep to meet up with Kes.

Flamerule (July) 18

    On our way back to Waterdeep, we decided to stop over in Baldur's Gate, to visit my family. When we walked into the house, my family was surprised, since they haven't seen me since I left home.
     Mom ran up to me and gave me a big hug. "Dilan!"
     Tempest also came up to me. "Hey you made it home. It's about time."
     Mom let go of me. I pointed to Milo. "This is Milo, I traveled with him the last three years."
     Mom said "Come on in."
     We walked into the living room. I saw a cradle in the room with a baby in it. "Who's this?"
     Mom picked up the baby and said "This is your sister, Sildora."
     My eyes got wide. "I didn't know you were pregnant."
     Mom said "Well of course. You haven't been home in three years."
     She handed me Sildora and I said "I'm sorry mom, I didn't want to miss something like this."
     Mom said "Don't worry about it Dilan, you were living your life."
     I sat down with the baby. Tempest climbs up to my side, while I put my arm around her. "Where's dad?"
     Mom said "he's out right now. He'll be back before supper. He's also bringing Ranger and Angela with him. So how long are you staying?"
     I looked at Milo and he said "We have to get to Waterdeep. I will be getting married soon."
     Mom said "Well, Congratulations. Can you stay at least for the night?"
     Milo said "Yes, we can do that."
     Mom said "Good, we haven't seen Dilan in three years."

     Later that night, Dad, Ranger, and Angela made it home. Dad and Ranger gave me a hug. Ranger said "Welcome home, brother. I see you carry a harper's badge."
     I said "Yep." We had dinner and slept.
     The next morning, me and Milo were about to leave. My family were gathered around saying goodbye.
     Mom said "Dilan, this time don't take three years to visit your family."
     I said "I'll try not to." and she gave me a hug.
     We left while Ranger said "Be a stranger next time." with a smile on his face.

Flamerule (July) 23

    We get to Waterdeep, and went to see Kes. She said "Welcome back. I wasn't sure what happened to you. You had me worried."
     Milo said I almost died, but Dilan reminded me that I had to get married."
     Kes said "I'm surprised you survived then." as she smiled. Milo gave her a kiss. Kes said "The wedding is in three days. You have to get your things ready."
     Milo said "I know. There's somethings I have to take care of for the wedding, I'll see you later." Milo gives Kes a kiss and leaves.
     Kes watches Milo go, then looks at me. "Dilan, I have to tell someone this, but I haven't been able to tell Milo yet."
     I said "What's the problem?"
     Kes said "I'm pregnant."
