| Sweet and Sour Meatballs | ||||||||||
| 1 lb ground beef 1egg (slightly beaten ) 2 tbsp milk 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup soft bread crumbs 2 tbsp minced onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1/8 tsp pepper 1 tbsp oil 2/3 cup of red currant or grape jelly 2/3 cup of Heinz Chili sauce |

| Combine first 8 ingredients: form into small meatballs, using a full teaspoon for each . Brown meatballs lightly in oil. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Drain excess fat. Combine jelly and chili sauce: pour over meatballs. Heat. stirring occassionally until jelly is melted. Simmer10 to 12 mins until sauce has thickened. Baste occassionally. Makes approximately 40 meatballs. | ||||||||||
