Since I have been accused of being too serious and that I think too much , ( I have even been accused of being a stick in the mud) imagine that! I have decided to try to live down that image. I think this is a good place to do that.
Actually I do like to have fun. It just isn't all I think about. But I love to dance.. I love music and have been known to get out my dust rags and put on my grunge clothes and crank up the stereo with some good upbeat music and really boogie all over the house. It makes me laugh out loud to think about it.
My sister and I used to do that when we were sent to the kitchen to do the dishes. We danced with each other , the mop or broom or whatever was handy. We had a ball and the dishes always got done eventually. Momma never said a word as long as we didn't wander away from the kitchen until it was clean. And sometimes my Dad even joined us in the frolicing:) .We danced to Fats Domino , The Big Bopper and Elvis Presley. Ahh those were the days of great music. |
