| Those who know me personally (loved ones and friends alike ) can tell you , they don't always see Christ in me. I am Human....and I do fail ... at being a christian as well as in many other areas, so I do not presume to preach to anyone here. But deep, deep within me, in my spirit and in my heart there is a love for the Father of us all. I know who created me. I know who died for me, that I might live. I know who is always there when friends might fail me. I know who leaves the one set of footprints in the sand, during the hardships and troubles of life. I know who comforts me when I am heart-sick or physically ill. I know who shelters me in the shadow of his wings when I have had all I can stand and cannot endure any more. |
| And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.... Phillipians 4: 7 |
| How excellent is thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. Psalms 36: 7 |
| Jesus said: |
| And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. John 14: 16 |
| We all need God in our lives, but most especially now , during these troubled times. We all, who believe in prayer, need to pray for our country and our armed forces. We need to pray for our president and our leaders, that they will make decisions based on the guidance of The Holy Spirit and the wisdom of our Father. Each and every soldier will need our prayers as well. Please do not forget them . |
