I grew up in the mountains of West Virginia and now live in the state of Tennessee where I have been for almost 25 yrs. I am proud to be from both states and proud to be American. I am proud to be a southerner.
I am a nurse by chosen profession, and became an artist by having the dream for much of my life and then one day having the audacity and the courage to pick up the brush and just start.
I am a woman, just a tad past middle age, who has learned a lot of lessons over the years, learned what is important in this life. I am prone to flights of fancy and spring fever.
I love living in the country and waking up to the birds singing in the spring time, the smell of the wild honeysuckle across the road when the wind is just right, and walking along the river on a cool spring morning.
