Mission:
The  CSJHD offers educational and job training programs to under served groups in Sacramento and  Umuaka community, Imo State, Nigeria.  It also offer assistance and training to  communities and individuals suffering from descent-based discrimination (such as the Osu Caste System In Igboland).

The Osu Caste System:
The 'Osu caste System', which is a form of discrimination in Igboland, is an ancient belief system.  The system is similar to  the former Apartheid system in South Africa, the caste system in India, and the racial discrimination
in the United States.

The system prevents freedom of association between the so-called '
Osu' (slaves) and the 'Diala' (freeborn) in Igboland. It is socially and culturally abhorred for the freeborn  to marry an osu or to engage in any relationship of love.  The Osu caste system is an internal Apartheid in Igboland.

The campaign against the Osu Caste system started with an article in 1999 and a book in 2002 on the system. Based  on his work on the issue Victor E. Dike was invited by the United Nations (Geneva) to present a paper on the Osu Caste System In Igboland at the Conference on the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) on August 8-12 2002. He was also invited to present a paper at the World Social Forum in Mumbai, India (January 16-21 2004)
