- steam engines (possibly very quite)
- steel chassis
- simple mech legs
- human ergonomics
- weight balance (hugely important if you wanna do that back filp into a room spraying everthing with a/p rounds hE!)
- how to join an evil corporation to build these things
but the most important thing to remember is that mechs are
easiest to build but the land mates are definitely more profitable
