Ok, here's my summarized version. Take not that I wtched this in japanese while I don't have a single clue what the characters talked about. So, this is just what I saw and what I've read from other websites...
The movie starts of in digital space where Omnimon is seen talking to a mysterious voice. It was clear to all of us that it was the voice of Apocolymon when he appears. His data disintegrated and then took another form. Then, out of nowhere came out Mephistomon. The two digimon dueled and at last, Omnimon striked with his 'Supreme Cannon' attack. This attack hit Mephistomon backwards. As he hits the void of the digital space, a portal open and he went through it. The portal closes before Omnimon gets the chance to go in. The scene faded.
Takato is packing his luggage, ready to go on a holiday visiting his cousin. After his attempt to pack his clothes failed, he thought of how he was going to take Guilmon. Guilmon was shown rolling around in his den in the summer's heat. He complained about it and was heard by a girl. The girl screamed and ran away. The scene changes to Takato's parents down at the bakery. Takato's mum said that she wasn't worried about Takato being away and as she pressed the cash register, she paused and said she might have mad a mistake. Then, the scene cuts to Takato carrying a huge luggage to fit Guilmon in while muttering.

Takato and Henry took the aeroplane. Things got messy with Guilmon and Calumon in the aeroplane. As they landed, Henry and Takato went their seperate ways; Henry went to see the meteor while Takato went to his relatives. Takato searches for his cousin who was suppost tobe waiting for him. He watches a broadcast and saw his cousin wandered into it and got into trouble. They then met. The guy who was interviewed came up to Takato and Kai, his cousin, and said that 'children are our future'. A group of paparazzi started to take pictures. Takato's parents saw him on TV, well... his mom did.
Kai and Takato was on a cruise. Takato sat next to Guilmon (in a bag) and Kai comes and talks to him. The both saw the clear water and corals. Kai dived in, leaving Takato on board and asked Takato to meet him at the temple later. Takato arrived, pushing the suitcase. He stopped and feel asleep on the suitcase because he was exhausted. Later, Kai came looking for Takato and ends up meeting up with Guilmon pushing the suitcase with Takato asleep on top of it. He was surprised at the sight of Guilmon.
Takato woke up and met Kai's grandfather. Then Kai came followed by Guilmon. He was surprised that Guilmon had shown himself to Kai. They talked and then Kai's granfather leaves. Then Kai leaves and Takato went to follow Calumon and Guilmon.
