Madonna Sucks at Dance Dance Revolution...Yeah!   I said it!

If you watch as much cable as I do, you must have had the misfortune of seeing Madonna's video for "Caught up" at least once.  I have seen the beginning innumeral times, however, only this morning did I ride it through to the end.

I was rewarded with a wonderful scene, involving Madonna shoving some poor gaming minority off of a DDR machine and (as she is prone to do with so many other things) mount it herself.  She proceeds to NOT FACE THE SCREEN, doing rediculously impossible (for DDR) dance moves, involving spins and kicks.  The cameraman tries pitifully to show her steping on the right flashing squares, but, hey, you lost me at the mount.  They probably added in the flashing as a special effect-afterthought.

I suck at DDR.  I am not going to lie to you.  Wade Larson and I once planned on a cable access soap opera, ending with everyone playing DDR.   To no avail.  I am teh suck.  However, I have seen it done well   (oh yeah, doing it and doing it and doing it well) once or twice before.  The best time was this overweight kid around 14.  I looked at him and thought, oh!  Not in front of the window, the whole mall will see you make a Sama-like spectacle of yourself  (as I said, I suck).  He proceeded to stand on the far back of the platform, not touching any of the squares.  When the music started, he slowing tapped out the patterns with his right foot.

Now I'm thinking, well that's one way to do it.  I continue to watch him, whilst the Republican is trying to impress me with his mad Ski-ball abilities, and the kid commences to bore me.  Then out of nowhere, he jumps on the thing and starts mad dancing!  I am like OMG NO WAY!!!!  He's all sorts of into it, and even moves his hands in a sort of I'm-so-madonna-at-the-end-of-her-suck-video motion.  I'm all like, you rock.

Madonna is the mad suck at DDR, but some husky 14-year-olds demand to be worshipped.
Oh, dear god!  Don't let Madonna kill my spirit by being the suck on me!
