DMF2001 - Welcome to the Digital Media Festival 2001 Website!

Invitation to Participate in the Programs: (New media artists to have their works presented and reviewed for the Festival (preferred works are digital audio, digital video, experimental / documentary / short film / video art, interactive CD-ROMs and multimedia); experts to talk about issues in digital art and technical issues in digital technology): 1. Presentation and Review of Artist's CD-ROMs 2. Presentation and Review Digital Video and Audio 3. Short Film, Experimental, Artists Videos 4. Artists Talks 5. Digital Media Demos and Workshops.

Submission Guidelines: Send CD-ROM / VHS Video / of works with Brief Bio-data and other support materials to: Fatima Lasay, Faculty of Studio Arts, College of Fine Arts University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City 1101 Philippines. Note that works cannot be returned and will be archived in the University library as gifts/donations by the artists.

Invitation for Industry Leaders in digital media: 1. To conduct new media technology workshops and demos for students and the general public; 2. To present new technologies for exploration in art (such as new software (database, imaging, video editing, color management, etc.), hardware (printers, digital cameras, digital video cameras, internet video/phones,etc.), communications media and technology (cellular phones, WAP, PDAs, software for downloading and viewing video/PDFs in PDAs, etc.), print media, etc.
