Photoshop Elements Keyboard Shortcuts

1. Ctrl Z - Undo last edit
2. Ctrl Y - Redo last edit
3. Ctrl 0 or Double Click the Hand Tool – Fit photo to screen
4. Ctrl = - Zoom in
5. Ctrl - - Zoom out
6. Hold down the spacebar when in zoom mode to pan with the mouse
7. Left Bracket – Decrease brush size
8. Right Bracket – Increase brush Size
9. Ctrl L - Levels dialog box
10. Alt Click to obtain the clone sample
11. Shift Drag the rectangular/elliptical marquee to produce a square/circle
12. Ctrl N - New
13. Ctrl Shift N - New layer
14. Ctrl Shift I - Invert selection
15. Ctrl D - Deselect
16. Ctrl J - New duplicate layer
17. Ctrl J - Copy selection to a new layer
18. Shift Ctrl J - Move selection to a new layer
19. Alt/Ctrl Bk Sp – Fill Selection with Foreground/Background Color (also Layer Masks)
20. Ctrl Click layer thumbnail to select layer item(s)
21. Alt Click layer mask to edit normal mask in image area
22. Shift Alt Click layer mask to edit a red mask in image area
23. Alt Drag to duplicate selected layer item(s)
24. Shift Alt Drag to duplicate selected layer item(s) in a straight line
25. Shift Click a layer mask to hide - Shift Click again to restore
26. Double Click Background - Background becomes a normal layer
27. Ctrl G - Group selected layer with previous
28. D - Restore default foreground (black) and background (white) colors
29. X - Reverse foreground and background colors
