EIGHT BALL POOL

Eight Ball Pool is a modified version of Bally's Eight Ball.
Released in 1977, Eight Ball was the best selling game of its time.
Although I've never played the game, I've read a little about it and
I always liked the layout of the playfield. Eight Ball was one of the
first Solid State games from Bally but I decided to make Eight Ball Pool
an electro-mechanical pinball machine.
To simulate a electro-mechanical pinball I changed the flipper speed
and bumper strength to make the game a little bit slower.
All the sounds are electro-mechanical.

THE RULES

-Making all solid balls 1 thru 7 in any order lights the eight ball at
 the black target.
-Hitting the eight ball will light Extra Ball at the red target.
-Then you have to make the striped balls 9 thru 15 in any order to light
 the eight ball again.
-Hitting the eight ball target this time will light Special at the
 red target.
-The right loop (called Bank Shot) awards the following:
100 points, 300 points, 1000 points, Kick Back,
 Spot Ball and Double Bonus.
-The eight ball can only be spotted hitting the eight ball target.

NEW TO THIS VERSION (Beta 8)

-Playfield measures were change to follow Bally specifications making
the size of the playfield proportional to the ball.
-Many targets were slightly moved due to the playfield size change.
-Code was completely rewritten. New Subs were added. Variables were renamed
 to follow a standard notation.
-Playfield art was changed a little bit.
-The rules were updated.
-The game looks the same but the flow has changed a lot.
-There were a lot of little things changed but I don't remember everything
 right now.

I hope you enjoy the game!
