I am starting to go crazy with locals here by now.. initially it was 3M masks, Dettol products and antiseptic stuffs being out of stock here, then it was thermometers and guess what is out of stock now? I am sure you can never get it correct. It is "VEGETABLES"! All this bcoz of SARS virus.. what the hell is going on!? Locals here are snapping up whatever kind of vegetables they can find in market. This was due to 2 workers were found to be down with the virus(one of whom has died) at the vegetable wholesale centre and gov't immediately ordered shutting down of the wholesale centre for 10 days to quarantine. SG is going mad.. even non vegetable consumers are buying vegetables to stock up their houses!
For healthcare products being out of stock is reasonable, but for vegetables!?! This is really a crazy scene to see. I just witnessed this fanatic scene at a supermarket just now when I went to get some vegetables for the week(normally my family will buy 3-4days supply of vegetables at one go). I saw a number of middle-aged women scrambling to get vegetables which were just unpacked from carton boxes by supermarket staff and putting them into their trollies. Yes, they were pushing 2-3 trollies toppling full of vegetables with their family members!! This is pure madness.. it's like war!

I think I am being caught by the flu virus ne.. I've been sneezing the daylights out of me since Friday night. My nose is like a running tap now and it is almost as red as Rudolph's nose!
So howz your weekend? It's a long one for me as Friday was a public holiday due to Easter. Although it's a public holiday, I didn't go anywhere at all. I was at home the whole day and only went online to chat with Mervyn at night. Haha.. I think by now, he is regretting alone in Australia for going to study there at this time. Coz now in Singapore, there are many stuffs and events going on which he wanna join in/watch.
Anyway I think he should be thanful to know me ne! You know.. I specially dubbed Leslie Cheung's funeral reports and cut newspaper cuttings on this issue for him to see. Also, I recorded down Linkin Park's specials earlier today for him to see! *See how nice I am to you, Mervyn! So how are you gonna repay me?? Haha.. (hint hint: Come back to SG to find me quick)*

Till today, there is still a lot of changes in my company as whether how are we gonna work with this SARS virus getting worse and worse each day. But today I made protest to work from house and I just know from my executive that if we work from home, I am unable to make claims for my phone bills, electricity bills and internet bills! How stupid~ why would I be so stupid to pay all bills myself when I can actually protest and insist on working at the office instead!? So I actually strongly protest against working at home and my Vice President called for a voting session to see who wanna work at office and who wanna work at home. The result came with 3 person out of 23 person wanting to work at home only! Then why in the first place, he wants us to work from us?? *sigh~ fucked up management*
Today is Mervyn's birthday but when I called him on the phone, he didn't pick up.. is he busy with school work or is he busy celebrating?? Hmmmn.... anyway, I'll try and call again later... *disturb Mervyn!* Hahaaahaaaa... anyway, I hope he will enjoy his birthday even if I am making him go around to help me get face masks and Dettol antiseptic!(It's all out of stock in SG ne)

I confirm my company is INDEED getting MORE and MORE STUPID! Today I got a briefing by my executive that if this action is implemented, by next week my department will have to split up with 2 of my colleagues going to work at another building while me and my excutive, we will stay on at my current workplace. This does not refer only to my department but to my entire 4th level colleagues, everyone will be split up. So that means out of approximately 140 persons, 70 persons will be transferred out to another building(beside my work building) to work from there. This is not the worse piece of news.. the worst is that we are not allowed to meet at all and during lunchtime, we are not allowed to lunch together!! I think this is a SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER STUPID MOVE! Even if we can't meet at work, we will still definitely bump into each other at the bus stop or train station! Even if we can't meet at work, we will still meet outside work or after work!
I don't understand why my company wanna think and implement so many stupid rules recently.. I would rather they quarantine each and every one of us by making us work from our home then to quarantine us this way coz I think it is a stupid and useless move, as all of us are still within the same compound(just different work buildings only). And also, many of our jobs are actually inter-related and it is hard for us to split so no matter what, problems will ultimately arise.

Recently I think my company is getting more and more stupid! First, they waste money issuing little blue cards which has got all the management practices printed on it. And now, they implement a rule saying that we MUST remember all the practices by heart and carry this card with us wherever we go. If we are found not carrying the card, we will be sacked without reason immediately! What kind of stupid rule is this!?! We are not kids nor is this is school, why should there be such a stupid rule implemented!?!
Just yesterday morning around 10am, I was being called to a last minute meeting about the issue of SARS virus at my company. Apparently someone from the Sales department caught the virus and she spread it to 5 of her other colleagues whom attended her mother-in-law's wake. Now all 6 of them are being quarantine at home and becoz of this, the upper management people engaged a disinfectant company to come to our company to disinfect the sales building. Initially for my office building, they said it was not necessary but then at the very last minute(around 3pm) then, we being notified that we are required to evacuate and leave the building by 6.30pm!! It was such a super short notice that I had a hard time struggling to clear all my work and pack up and clear all my stuffs on my table!! Luckily my executive helped me out with one schedule to clear while I start on the next one. But I think this is a good move by disinfecting my office building, as I think my level is rather dirty.

Whenever I see my friend's commercial on tv, I will start screaming and shouting in happiness. *Am I crazy?* Hahaha~ but my friend is really very very pretty, beautiful, super gorgeous! And what's more, you all actually know her! C'mon make a guess who she is... m_of_love Don't you simply love her? She is so drop-dead gorgoeous!! Hmmn.. I think I should start charging my lovely friend for advertisement I am doing here! Heeheehee.. do you hear me, my pretty MOMO?
Recently whenever I hear this cantonese song called MY WAY by Hins Cheung King Hin, I think of Mervyn.. Why!? What's wrong with me?! Why do I think of Mervyn when I hear this song?? I think I am really getting cranky ne..
