The New Aeon

   Many have speculated as to what the new Aeon is. Is it the "New Satanic Age"? Is it the "Chthulhu Rising"? It depends on your viewpoint. Here I will present mine.

   Since the late Neo-Sumerian Period, Judaism has grown into the most prominent and dominating set of beliefs on the planet. It has, over the past two millenia, been a scourge to the animal instincts embedded in us at birth. Many people feel that the time of Christ and IHVH is at an end. Just where this era ends/ended is up to major debate. The Church of Satan and many LaVey followers/supporters feel that it was in 1966, when LaVey founded the Church of Satan thus bringing the animal instincts in humans into the limelight. the Esoteric Order of Dagon feels that the new aeon began February 28, 1925; and named it the "Aeon of Cthulhu Rising". Astrologically, the new aeon is referred to as the "Age of Aquarius". Other names are "Aeon of Horus" (Thelemic), "Aeon of Maat" (Achad), etc. The Black Temple, a lodge of the Church of Lucifer, declared it "Annos Luciferi" on January 1, 2000. Even I have declared it, "Anno Diabolus", on that same date. Recently in an essay by the Gnostic Order and Temple of Satanas Magister, Rene Strunch, wrote an essay on this very same subject. She notes that many claim the new aeon began back in the Renaissance, "with the rise of modern science and humanistic ideas". Though the events she lists thereafter support this theory, I see that period as more of a decline of the previous aeon. It marks the beginning of it's passing as it ages and weakens. On January 1st, 2000 AD, at midnight, there was no "Second Coming". There was no miraculous event and the world did not cease to exist. In fact, it was a quite enjoyably peaceful New Year's celebration for most of the world. This lack of "Second Coming" was enlightening to many and nihilistic to many more. It proved very strongly that Christ is not coming back! He was mortal and shall never live again! Consider it a wake up call. They now desperately cling to their beliefs as the once strong Holy Roman Catholic Church crumbles in division after division and falling out after falling out. Truely, their aeon is over. Now it is just time to pick up the pieces and restore our lives. Time to get back to our instincts, study harder, indulge stronger, and take our existence to new levels! The imagery-based and rank-obsessed "Satanic" groups war with each other now, slowly going the way of the Judaic Empire. To all of them, in their existences clouded by the dust of time, I say, "Veni Vidi Vici, the message of Father Time". I came, I saw, I conquered... those who cannot stand the test of time do now fall. All I have to do is sit back and watch as the Judiac Empire, the Psuedo-Satanic Movement, and all of the others treacherous to their proclaimed ways, fall. Time is grand, indeed.

   The Aeon of Rebellion, the Aeon of Adversity, the Aeon of Freedom. three ways one could take my personal name for this era. It is the time of the self. The time to stop hating yourself and get to know yourself. At home in the presence of Lucifer, this essentially means it is the time to accept truth and enlightenment as it is. A time to not deny what you discover, but to question it, examine it, dissect it, and know it. If it holds true, be one with it. This is the age of wisdom, the age of self, the age of freedom!
