Jamie's TTC Journal

July 10th, 2000
It's been a long hard road.  Longer and harder than I ever imagined it would be.  I currently 1-2 days away from finding out whether this cycle was successful or not.  This is probably cycle #26 or so, although not consecutive.  We've taken some breaks, and had some very short-lived successes, so obviously I'm a little anxious.  This cycle we worked with a great RE down at Stanford, and used Clomid and an HCG and had an IUI.  At the time of the IUI I had 3 follicles on my right ovary that were between 19-21mm and probably ovulated, and 3 smaller follicles on my left ovary, 12mm and below, that probably did not ovulate.  My lining was thinner than it has been in recorded history, 5 mm, but I've heard a few success stories, one even with twins at 5-6 mm, so all is not lost.  Rob's count after the wash was great, so now we just have to make it 1 or 2 more days.  14 dpo is Wednesday, July 12th, and we leave the enxt day for a long relaxing spa weekend, so I will either be celebrating with a massage on the deck of my cabin, or crying into my champagne and fine wines with dinner.
