Rob and I have been married for 7years this June 15th, and together 10.  It's hard to believe that it's been that long. 

We met on a blind date. It just shows to go ya, you never can tell when love is going to sneak up and bite you in the ass!

We had been trying to have children unsuccessfully for several years, and recently moved on to adoption.  We were very blessed to bring our daughter home just 6 months after signing up with our agency.  For more information, see the Adoption Journal on the TTC Page.

I became a stay-at-home wife in October 2000 and a stay-at-home mother in January of 2003.  I consider myself very lucky.  I used to work for a software company, doing technical support and project management.

Rob works for a nationwide PCS wireless company, as an indirect sales rep.
Sad News:
Digit,our sweet cat, finally passed away this past February.  She was 18.5 years old, and lived a long, wonderful life.  She was instramental in bringing Taylor into our lives, and stayed for a month, to make sure that all was well.  She will be greatly missed.
Hobbies & Interests:
Rob loves to play golf, and anytime the weather is nice, you can find him on the golf course. 

I like to work in my garden, read, watch movies, hang out with my friends and play on my computer.  I've been sewing some really fun baby blankets.  I've been selling them to friends and family, and although I am not making much money, even a little extra spending money is a great thing!  Take a peek at them on my Little Man Nate's Baby Blankets page.
Family:
Rob is 34 and the best husband a girl could ask for.  Digit, our cat is a real sweetheart. She's 17 years old, and the best cat I've ever had!  She's recently developed kidney trouble, but is doing very well in spite of that.  I can't imagine what I'll do when she's gone.

One set of my parents, Mom & Steve live in Montecito, CA.  We got married at their house.  My Dad & Dottie recently moved up north to El Dorado Hills, CA, just past Sacramento on Highway 50.  My brother Jay lives in Ventura and is a set painter for Paramount Studios.  My sister Leslie lives in Virginia Beach with her two girls, Erin, 17, and Kinsey, 9.

Rob's parents, Bob & Kay, and his sister Kelli, all live in Raleigh, NC.
