Season One
What happens when seven regular kids go to summer camp, it starts to snow, weird digital devices come from the sky, and they are transported to a world full of digital monsters and bad guys? The first episode of Digimon, Digital Monsters. Tai, Sora, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, and T.K. are having fun at summer camp when they get caught in a blizzard...in August! Strange devices come raining down from the sky, and they fall through a rift into another world, full of...monsters! Each kid pairs up with a Digimon, and they all come together, only to be attacked by Kuwagamon! The Digimon Digivolve for the first time and drive him away. Later on the beach, they are attacked again by Shellmon. Shellmon grabs Tai, but Agumon Digivolves to Greymon and saves the day.
But Greymon isn't the only one to digivolve. Gabumon digivolves into Garurumon to save Matt. Biyomon digivolves into Birdramon when she and Meramon go head to head. Then Tentomon turns into Kabuterimon, Palmon becomes Togemon, Gomamon grows into Ikakumon, and Palmon digivolves into Angemon to defeat Devimon, who the kids have struggled with for a long time! You'd think that with that creep taken care of and all new champions on their side,nothing can beat the Digidestined. But then they must deal with Etemon, who proves to be no easy match. Etemon is part of the Myotismon saga, so we are introduced to MetalGreymon before his downfall. After that, the kids must face the ultimate stage of evil...Myotismon! They go back home to get rid of Myotismon and his thugs, but also find another thing they were looking for, the eighth Digidestined, Tai's sister Kari. Then she and Gatomon team up so the cool kitty can digivolve into Angewomon. One Celestial Arrow and a whole lot of teamwork and he's gone...right? Wrong! The creep digivolves into VenomMyotismon!! It takes the combined power of all the Digivices to beat him. But it don't end there! The kids return to Digiworld, where they find it under the rule of the four Dark Masters. What follows is a horrible time full of fights and seperations among the team, but when the final and strongest Dark Master, Piedmon, is defeated, up comes a power so evil that the kids have a hard time beating Apocalymon, who was created with all the evil Digimons powers combined. The season ends with the kids having to leave 110 years earlier than expected. This episode is a tear-jerker when they have to say goodbye to their Digimon. But don't fret, cause in Season Two they return!
