Takato and Lee have gone to Okinawa on their summer vacation. There the developers who created sofware that allowed one to raise a pet on the computer were gaining society's attention, but a suspicious shadow lurked around their headquarters.
Meanwhile back in Tokyo, a mysterious enemy Digimon appeared before Ruki and Renamon. Sensing that something wasn't right, Takato, Lee, and Ruki met in Okinawa to investigate further.
