| Taichi "Tai" Kamiya Grade: 5 Age: 11 School: Odaiba Elementary Tai is the leader of the Digidetined (Season 1). Tai is a very brave risk-taker who will do anything to accomplish his goals, but he sometimes does it without thinking about others feelings. He's also very impatient and thinks that he is always right. Tai and Sora were friends before they met the others. Tai holds the crest of COURAGE. |

| Yamato "Matt" Ishida Grade: 5 Age: 11 School: Odaiba Elementary Matt is known as "Mr. Cool" and seems to be heatless, but he cares a lot about his younger brother, TK. He's always trying to pretend that he doesn't care about TK. Matt and TK are half brothers because there parents broke up. Matt lives with his dad and TK lives with his mom. Matt has his very own point of view that Tai cannot stand, Matt thinks he should be the leader, when they fought puppetmon. (one of the dark masters) He is a nice guy after all. Matt holds the crest of FRIENDSHIP. |

| Sora Takenouchi Grade: 5 Age: 11 School: Odaiba Elementary Sora is very thoughtful for others, and very brave. She spends time on things she does, trying to get things done the right way. Unlike other girls, Sora doesn't care about looks or fashion. Sora and Tai have known each other since kindergarten, and have gone to the same school since then. Sora holds the crest of LOVE. |
