The Digi-Core, which manages all Digimon, is the program and the data that makes a Digimon alive. What you see (monster, cyborg, etc.) is based on information from the Digi-Core.
A Digimon is born from a Digi-Tama (Digital Egg), and it will then grow up. If a program or data is eaten (like food) or if it wins a battle, the appearance will be changed and the Digimon will Evolve! Ultimately, it will die and return to a Digi-Tama again.

However, if the X Antibodies in the Digi-Core continue to be infected with the X-Program, they will be destroyed.
Death was feared and the World's law became one of "survival of the fittest". Everyone scrambled to get the power of the X Antibody to strengthen themselves.
The surviving Digimon went to a new world, the NEW Digital World (NDW) where the X-Program could not reach them...
The Digital World's Highest Level of security, the Saintly horsemen are called the Royal Knights. Even though they are Saintly horsemen, they do not fight completely for good, but rather for whatever "justice" they see as "right." It is said that there are 13 Royal Knights.
The NEW Digital World is divided into three layers. It consists of the Future Layer, Past Layer, and Present Layer.
The Future Layer contains Artificial Evolution Digimon. The Past Layers has Ancient types, such as Dinosaur types. All kinds of Digimon are born in the Present Layer.
Crossing the layers moves you between time in in this World's eras.
Past (Urd) - Lots of volcanic activity; basically, wasteland, containing dinosaur Digimon (Greymon, Pteramon..)
Present (Verdani) - The natural world of fields and praries we see in all the Digimon seasons, containing a variety of Digimon, most of which are Nature-type (Biyomon, Otamamon..)
Future (Skuld) - The large, clean city of the near future, containing android and cyborg-Digimon (Andromon, Kuwagamon X...
The NDW is a safe, virtual experiment space coming from a Host computer, but does not accumulate data to the Host Computer itself.
The three layers are known as the "Chronicle Layer System" and are suited for each layer's Digimon's evolution.
X Antibodies have influenced the Digimon itself.
There is a power which pulls out the potential capability of a Digimon to the maximum extent when it's life depends on it (hunger, muscular strength circumstances, etc.) and makes them Evolve (especially during an attack). A "XAI system" is a system which displays the situation of the X Antibodies.
The X-Antibody Indicator is commonly called XAI (Pronounced "SAI") System.
When Digimon with X Antibodies were discovered, the host computer, although originally pursuit and surveillance based, succeeded in miniaturizing them, and made loading them possible using the Pendulum X.
Another human boy's name is Yuji (Yuuji). He appears to be the same height as Kouta and is wearing a blue sleeve-less shirt, brown gloves, white long pants, and brown shoes.
Yuji's partner digimon is Ryuudamon. He is a Child digimon. Ryuudamon looks a lot like Dorumon. Both are furry dinosaurs that walk on their hind legs, have short arms, and have a red triangle on their heads. However, Ryuudamon has yellow fur and green eyes, and has a normal dinosaur tail instead of a bushy squirrel tail like Dorumon. In addition to these differences, Ryuudamon wears black and purple samurai armor. It is draped over him like the pelt that Gabumon wears. There also appears to be a tuft of red hair coming from Ryuudamon's head, but I cannot tell whether or not the hair is connected to the armor or to the digimon itself.
Ginryuumon is the Adult form of Ryuudamon. He walks on four legs and has a longer neck than before. The samurai armor now covers most of his body. His skin is a orange-yellow tone. The armor is mostly black with some purple around the neck, with hints of red and silver on the legs, torso, tail, neck, and head. The red triangle is still on his forehead.
Hisharyuumon is the Perfect form of Ginryuudamon. He is a Chinese dragon and looks like Shenlong from Dragonball. He has a red underbelly and black scales. There is gold around his face, legs, and back. He holds a green orb in his left hand and an orange orb in his right hand. There is still a red triangle on his head except this time it is more of a cross between a triangle and an oval.
Ouryuumon id the Ultimate form of Hishamon. He is a very long bronze and gold dragon. He has a shorter face than Hisharyuumon, but he has razor sharp teeth. He holds a long, curved, silver and gold sword in each of his two hands. He has a pair of silver and gold metallic wings. He also has a tuft of purple hair. I cannot tell if he has any legs. The red triangle on his head is now an oval.

Mametyramon (Mameteiramon) is a cross between Pacman and a orange-red Agumon. He has a round sliver helmet on his head that covers everything except for his eyes and mouth. His eyes are blue and evil looking. He has small, but sharp, teeth. His arms come out from his helmet near his eyes. There are two green spikes on his helmet and two green spikes on his tail.
UltimateBrachimon (AruteimettoBurakimon) is just a grey and blue brontosaurus covered in armor. Oddly enough, his head resembles that of a triceratops.
Allomon X has a ton of feathers running down his head, spine, and tail. Each feather is white with a tip of black. There are are less red stripes on Allomon X than on Allomon. There are patches of brown fur around his ankles, underneath his necklace, on the back of his head, and on parts of his back. Allomon X is still an Adult level digimon.
Alphamon (Arufuamon) is the Ultimate from of Grademon (Gureidomon). This is not an assumption from past theories. This information is from this issue. There is a small picture of Grademon with the word "Kanzentai," which means "Perfect," with an arrow pointing toward Alphamon, who is behind him. He is a grey armored digimon with outlines of gold and white. He has two grey and gold wings. There is a gold, Guilmon (Girumon) triangle on his shoulders. His semi-torn cape is blue on the inside and white on the outside.
It says in a paragraph next to Grademon and Alphamon "'Fuuin sareshi kishi no kaihou' de shinka suru aratana Roiyaru Naitsu!" It means something along the lines of "'From the release of the sealed knight,' he evolves into a new Royal Knight!" I think this means that Alphamon is a Royal Knight.
