Bio: Shay is the voice of reason. She's level headed and smart. So she tends to keep everyone calm when there's a crisis. However, she can be quick tempered and easily annoyed. She is the one who initially remains skeptical of the story Gennai tells her and the others. But eventually, she accepts her responsibility with grace and with a fighter's spirit.

She loves Lalamon and is fiercely protective of her. Once they've bonded, they become as thick as thieves. Shay will do anything for her. She does not like the thought of forcing her partner to evolve because of the painful process, even if it's to save the world. It's one part of being a Chosen that she will never fully accept.

She lives with her parents and younger sister.
