THE SCHOOL DANCE

*There's a school dance on Saturday night*
TK-
Kari- Hey TK
TK- Oh hi Kari
Kari- Hey did you hear about the dance on Saturday?
TK- Oh yeah, I just heard about it this morning
Kari-
TK-
*The bell broke the silence*
Kari- Well I better go to English class. I'll see you later
TK- Bye
*Kari started down the corridor to her class. TK watched her as she went*
Kari-
TK-

AT MATT'S APARTMENT
Matt- Is there something wrong TK? You barely ate your dinner and you keep
staring into space. What's up?
TK- Nothing *He sounds sad*
Matt- Oh come on. You can tell me I'm your big brother right?
*Matt tries to lighten him up*
TK- Ok well you see I have this problem
Matt- What is it?
TK- Well the school dance is this Saturday and I want to ask Kari to go with me
but I'm scared she'll say no
Matt- Kari say no to you? I doubt it!
TK- What makes you say that?
Matt- Everyone knows you like her and she likes you. I can tell
TK- Really? I hope your right
Matt- Of course I am but that's not your biggest problem
TK- It isn't? What do you mean?
Matt- Well you know how protective Tai is over Kari. He still treats her like
she's eight years old!
TK- Yeah I guess your right
Matt- Unless...
*Matt thinks to himself*
TK- *Eagerly* Unless what?
Matt- Unless Tai has some other plans that night
TK- Go on
Matt- Well everyone knows that he likes Sora and Sora likes him, right?
TK- Yeah that's obvious
Matt- But their both to shy to say it to eachother
TK- Yeah
Matt- So let's get them together this Saturday night
TK- How?
Matt- Just leave everything to me. You just ask Kari to go to the dance with you

TUESDAY AT SCHOOL
TK- Hey Kari!
*TK runs up to Kari*
Kari- Oh hi TK
TK- Can I ask you something?
Kari-
TK- Well...You see...Em...Em
Kari- Yes I will go to the dance with you
TK- How did you?
Kari- Oh come on TK. I know you better than you think!
TK- So you do want to go to the dance with me?
Kari- Of course I do
TK- Great! I'll pick you up at eight
Kari- Oh sure I'll see you later TK
TK- Bye Kari
*The bell rang rings and everyone goes to their class*
Kari-
TK-

AFTER SCHOOL AT MATT'S APARTMENT
*Matt is typing an e-mail on his computer*
Matt- Hey TK. How did it go?
TK- She said yes!
Matt- That's great
TK- So what are we going to do about Tai and Sora?
Matt- Don't worry I have everything under control. Ok done
TK- With what?
Matt- I'm writing an e-mail to Sora from Tai and one to Tai from Sora telling
them to meet on the beach on Saturday night
TK- Do you think it will work?
Matt- I hope so

THAT NIGHT AT SORA'S APARTMENT
*Sora is on her computer checking e-mails*
Sora-
E-mail: Dear Sora,
I have loved you for some time now. Please meet me at the beach on Saturday
night so I can tell you in person how much I love you.
Love from Tai

THAT NIGHT AT TAI'S APARTMENT
*Tai was checking his e-mails*
Tai-
E-mail: Dear Tai,
I have loved you for some time now. Please meet me at the beach on Saturday
night so I can tell you in person how much I love you.

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE KAMIYA'S APARTMENT
Tai- Bye Kari
Kari- Where are you going?
Tai- On a date! *Tai can't help but smile*
Kari- With who?
Tai- Sora
Kari- *Shocked* Sora?
Tai- Yeah she sent me an e-mail asking me to meet her at the beach
Kari- Cool! Well have a good time
Tai- Wait a minute. Why are you all dressed up?
Kari- Oh em well the school dance is on tonight so I was gong to go
Tai- With a boy?
*Tai's eyes narrowed at her*
Kari- No of course not! I'm going with my friends Kelly and Rachael
Tai- Oh ok. Well have a good time
Kari- Thanks Tai
Tai- Oh know I'm late. I'll see you later bye Kari
Kari- Bye Tai
*Tai runs out the door*

SORA'S APARTMENT
Bye Mom. I'm going
now
Sora's Mom- Ok bye. Have a nice time on your date!
Sora- Thanks Mom bye

KAMIYA'S APARTMENT
*TK is standing outside the apartment*
TK-
*TK rings the doorbell*
Kari-
*Kari opens the door*
Kari- Hi TK
*TK is stunned. He's never seen her all dressed up before. She was wearing a
light, soft, little pink dress that hung to her body perfectly. It was almost
like her dress was made for her. TK loves to see her in pink. It suits her so
well. It just looks like it says Kari all over it.
TK- Hi Kari, you look beautiful tonight *He barely managed to say*
Kari- *Blushing* Thanks. You look great too
*Kari closed the door behind her and they began to walk to the dance. They
didn't say that much on the way there because they were both really nervous.
They finally got there and they walked in. TK was so happy to walk in with one
of the hottest girls in school!*
TK- So what do you want to do?
Kari- I don't mind
TK- Do you want to dance?
Kari- Sure I'd love to
*TK took Kari's hand and lead her to the dance floor. A slow song came on so he
put his arms around her waist and looked deeply into her eyes. Kari put her arms
around his neck and looked back into his eyes and they began to dance totally mesmerized
by each other*
TK-
Kari-

AT THE BEACH
Tai- Sora
Sora- I got your e-mail
Tai- What e-mail?
Sora- The e-mail you sent me to meet you here?
Tai- What? No, you sent me an e-mail telling me to meet you here
*They both look confused and think for a minute*
Sora- I think we've been set up
Tai- Who do you think did it?
Sora- I don't know
Tai- Well since we're both here we may as well enjoy it
Sora- Really? Do you have anything in mind?
Tai- Well we could do this
*Tai gently put his arms around Sora's waist and pulled her close to him. Sora
put her arms around his neck. Tai softly touches her lips with his and they
begin to kiss passionately*
Tai-
Sora-
*They broke away for some air after a few minutes. Tai begins to kiss her neck
softly while he moves his hand up towards her chest*
Sora- Tai?
Tai- Yeah?
Sora- Who do you think sent those e-mails and why?
Tai- I have no idea who did but I'd like to meet the person and thank them
Sora- Me too
*They both smile at each other and begin to kiss passionately while Tai's hands
begin to wander yet again!*
Sora- Tai!
Tai- What? I'm sorry it's just that you're so beautiful and my hands have a mind
of their own. I can't control them!
*Sora begins to laugh at the worried expression on Tai's face and she just pulls
him into another long passionate kiss*

AT THE DANCE
TK-
Kari-
TK- Are you tired Kari? We've been dancing for a long time
Kari- Not really, but I would like to get some air
TK- Ok sure. Come on
*TK lead Kari outside. There wasn't anybody else outside because everyone was
having such a good time inside! Kari began to shiver a bit*
TK- Are you cold?
Kari- Just a bit
*TK put his arms around her and smiled at her*
TK- There how's that?
Kari- Much better. Thanks
TK-
*TK put his hand under Kari's chin to raise her mouth to his. They both closed
there eyes and leaned into each other. They both began to kiss each other
softly. TK pulled Kari closer to him. He began to kiss her harder and more
passionately. Kari put her arms around his neck and pulled him even closer*
Kari-
TK-
*Before they knew it the dance was over and it was time to go home. They walked
hand in hand all the way home stopping every couple of minutes to kiss each
other. They would of stood there all night kissing if it wasn't for curfew! They
got to Kari's apartment block. TK held Kari close and they stared into each
others eyes. They finally began to kiss each other goodnight. Kari started to
pull away*
TK- Please don't stop
*TK tried to pull her back into another long lingering kiss*
Kari- I'm sorry but I have to go
TK- Ok I guess I have to go too. Hey Kari?
Kari- Yeah?
TK- Will you go out with me? Like you know be my girlfriend?
Kari- Does this answer your question?
*Kari pulls TK towards her. She slips her tongue into his mouth and gentle
teases him. She pulls away. TK looks stunned like he was ready to beg for some
more*
TK- *Jokingly* Well I'm not quite sure I got the message. Maybe if you do it
again
*Kari smiled and did it again. She just couldn't resist it?
Kari- Ok TK now I really have to go!
TK- Ok
Kari- I had a really good time tonight TK
TK- So did I. I'm sure it will be the first of many!
Kari- I hope so
*Kari gives TK one more kiss*
Kari- Goodnight
TK- Goodnight Kari
*Kari goes into her apartment*

AT THE BEACH
*Sora is lying down on the sand while Tai is leaning over her. She has her arms
around his neck and they are staring into each other's eyes.
Sora- I better go Tai. I have to be home soon
Tai- Ok I'll walk you home
*Tai puts his arm around Sora's waist and they begin to walk to Sora's
apartment. They arrived to her apartment shortly*
Sora- Bye Tai
Tai- Bye Sora
*They had one more long passionate kiss and then they broke away*
Sora- I'll call you tomorrow
Tai- Yeah we should do something
Sora- Goodnight
Tai- Goodnight Sora
*Sora went into her apartment while Tai walked home with a big smile on his
face*

SUNDAY AT SORA'S FLOWER SHOP
*Sora is arranging some of the flowers when Matt walks in*
Sora- Hi Matt
Matt- Hey Sora. How did last night go?
Sora- How did you know about last night? Did you?
Matt- Yeah I did
Sora- You sent those e-mails?
Matt- Yep
Sora- But why?
Matt- Well you see TK wanted to go to his school dance with Kari but you know
what Tai is like when it comes to Kari. Plus everyone knew you liked each other
and it was only a matter of time before you two got together
Sora- Oh I see
Matt- So, did you have a good time?
Sora- Yeah we did. Well actually were seeing each other tonight
Matt- That's great!

SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE BEACH
*TK and Kari meet up*
TK- Hi Kari
Kari- Hi TK
*TK hands Kari a rose*
TK- You look so beautiful tonight
*Kari blushes and smells the roses sweet fragrance. TK holds Kari in his arms
and they both stare out to the ocean*
TK- *Whispers* I've never been more happy
Kari- Either have I

AT ANOTHER PART OF THE BEACH
*Sora and Tai are sitting on the sand*
Tai- Hey Sora, can I ask you something?
Sora- Sure
*Tai takes out a ring and puts it on Sora's finger*
Tai- Will you be my girlfriend?
*Sora throws her arms around Tai*
Sora- Yes! Yes I will Tai. I'd love to be your girlfriend
*With that Tai gently kissed her. He took her hand and they walked hand in hand
down the sandy beach*
