It goes back to them walking in the sewers and Mimi does a little narration. They all begin to sing and Agumon recommends that Mimi do a solo. She sings off-key but for some reason in a later episode she has a beautiful voice. They all sing again until Sora says, "Stop it!" She was homesick because singing reminded her of when she sung while doing chores. Tai says he misses taking a bath after a soccer game. T.K. states that he misses playing video games and that he almost beat Matt on them in addition to Matt's longing for the mouth-watering steaks he had last Sunday. Joe then says that he misses doing his homework because if he falls too far behind he may need to go to a junior college while Mimi doesn't miss homework, but she does miss the beach. Izzy says that he misses looking at the stars and planets with the assistance of his computer. The digimon realize that they are depressed and feel very sorry for them. Then some Numemon start coming and Agumon explains that they're weak but they need to get away because there were so many of them. Fortunately T.K. found an exit and Agumon explained that Numemon can't stand the sun. They then find these vending machines and Mimi wanted some food and drink and didn't think about the fact that they probably won't work. Then when she put the money in out popped a Numemon started to chase everyone and they split up. Then, along comes, Monzaemon and the Numemon all run away. Monzaemon is supposed to be a good digimon but attacks Mimi and Palmon. Numemon offers Mimi and Palmon shelter and Monzaemon walks right past them. Numemon says, "Now that I've saved you, will you go out with me?" and she says a simple no. Then Mimi and Palmon go to Toy Town and find Agumon and the others locked in a chest but Mimi and Palmon can't get them out. It turns out that Monzaemon had captured everyone. Mimi and Palmon walk around the city when, they're attacked by Monzaemon. Palmon uses Poison Ivy but doesn't hurt Monzaemon at all. The Numemon help Mimi but don't really hurt Monzaemon. Palmon realizes that in order to save everyone she would need to digivolve. And she does digivolve into Togemon. Togemon and Monzaemon then battle each other until Togemon uses it's Needle Spray to bring out the black gear. The digidestined now realize that the black gears cause trouble. To thank them for destroying the black gear, Monzaemon uses his hearts attack, with a hug.

Tai: Sora, are you all right?
Matt: Yeah, what's the matter?
Sora: Well, some water fell from up there.
Izzy: That made you scream?
