The show starts out with Tai talking about the storyline and introducing the characters. At the time they're all at summer camp and it suddenly starts to snow. Then a strange light appears in the sky. The light is actually there to transport them to the digiworld. It then goes to Tai, who is just meeting Koromon. Tai shortly meets up with Izzy and Motimon is introduced. Tai decides to take a look around and then finds Kuwagamon, an insectoid digimon, and not a good one either. In trying to escape, Motimon shows them a "hiding tree." Sora then comes along and calls out that Kuwagamon is gone. The others then meet Yokomon. Tokomon shows up next with T.K. soon after. Matt and Tsunomon come chasing after T.K. Soon after, Joe comes along afraid of his digimon, Bukamon. Everyone wonders what happened to Mimi and she then shows up being chased by Kuwagamon. They all run from Kuwagamon until they reach a cliff. The digimon are so brave that they use their bubble attack against Kuwagamon. The digimon know that they must fight but the kids are afraid for them. In the end they fight. The fact that the kids cared for the digimon is what made them digivolve. This is the first time they saw digivolution, so they were confused. All the digimon then attack Kuwagamon except Gomamon, you will see his attack in the next episode. Then Kuwagamon breaks a part off the cliff, the part the kids are standing on! Will they be okay? To Be Continued...
