The Crest of Life
Dear Matt,
I'm typing this on the laptop that Jenii gave me almost a year ago, when we first met. I
hope that this program can change English to Japanese for me, if not, Good luck to you.
I think about you all the time Matt. I can't believe its been almost a year since we seen
each other, since we came back from the Digital world, since I had to say good bye to you. I
Miss you So much.
My sister saw the photo of the group back in the Digital world, and fell in love with
T.K. I tried to tell her, that T.K. is Kari's guy, but, she won't believe me. Oh speaking of Kari,
How is she? And how is Tai? Is him and Sora still an Item or are they through? Has Joe
eased up a little? And has Izzy figure out how to use that digiport so I can come visit all of you.
Matt, write back soon, I'll be waiting.

As I hit the send key on the mail, I looked over at the photo of us in the digital world. Everyone was so happy, acting like best friends. Sora, Tai, Joe and Izzy were on one side, T.K. and Kari were in the middle, And Matt and I were on the end. Matt had his arm around me holding me like there would be no tomorrow. All of our digimon were in front of us, with a few digimon we have saved behind us. Leomon, Ogermon, and a few others. We looked like a huge family. "A huge happy family of friends" I sighed.
I went and laid down in my bed and thought about when I first met the Digidestined, and the digimon, It all started with a class trip...
(((((Flashback)))))
"To our left, is a star chart of the northern part of the western Hemisphere..." Said our tour guild. We were on a field trip to the local observatory, about 10 miles outside Michigan's state line. A 4hour drive on a bus.
"Will this guy just shut up?" I asked one of my good friends Cassy
"Of course not" She laughed and started to talk to her boyfriend.
"Ms. Longridglow?" Asked a voice
"Yes" I turned around to see an old guy with white hair and wearing some type of robe looking at me
"Will you come with me?" He asked.
I turned to look at the teacher, he nodded, "Its the manger of the observatory" the teacher whispered.
"Oh" And turned and started to follow the white haired dude.
"I'm Jenii" Said the dude
"Um.. Cindy" I replied as we walked into a room with the door marked "Do not enter, Jenii Only"
"Well Cindy, Guess what? You have won a trip to save the world..."
What?" I asked looking totally lost
"Don't worry about it, you will find out soon enough. Here take these." Jenii handed me two items. One was a pendent that hung on a string. It was 3 inches long and was an odd shaped diamond. The other was octagon shaped.
"these are a crest and a digivice They will help you with your task."
"What task? What is going on?" I Said to Jenii
"You were chosen to save the world, Everything Will come when you need it." Jenii said with a smile.
"Stand in the middle of the room, in the circle"
I walked over there, not knowing what would happen. all of a sudden, A bright light surround me and next thing I knew, I was in a meadow, with people standing in front of me.
"What in the world..." I said
"Will you get off of me?" Asked a voice, sounding quite muffled
"What uh?" I looked down and I noticed there was someone under me
"Oh, I'm sorry" I said as I got up and Help the person to their feet.
"Did I hurt you..." I asked the person, Then I got a good look at the person that I landed on. It was a guy with blonde spike hair, Blue as the ocean eyes, and was just a little taller then me. "Yea, no problem." he said rubbing his back
"I'm so sorry though..." Then I got a good look at where I was.
"Where am I" I asked the guy
"Don't you know?" Asked the guy
"No, um... last thing I knew, I was in a Observatory in Indiana, now I'm here" I said looking around
"Um.. well this place is called the Digital World"
"is it like in Iowa or something?" I laughed
"um.. no, we are not sure where it is" said Another dude.
"Hey. Oh by the way, I'm Cindy" I told everyone
"I'm Matt, This is Izzy" Pointing to the dude that told me where I was or should I say Was not "Sora" Pointing to the girl with a helmet on her head "Tai" Pointing to a dude with goggles� Joe" directing me to the boy with glasses "Mimi" motioning to the girl in all pink "T.K., my brother" Talking about the boy who looked like a mini Matt, "and Kari." Showing me a young kid, with a whistle around her neck.
"Hello" I said to them all
"So... you were what Jenii was talking about." exclaimed Tai.
"Uh?" I said confused
"Jenii, A guy that's been helping us through out this "Adventure" Said Izzy
"So you guys knew I was coming?" I Asked
"Kind of. Jenii told us, that something or someone was about to show up soon, and it would be the key point to the survival of the worlds." Said Sora, looking at me
"I was hoping for a huge Digimon..." T.K. started to say before Tai covered his mouth.
"Digimon? What's that?" I asked T.K.
"OUCH!" Screamed Tai. T.K. Bit Tai's Hand
"Sorry" Said T.K,. then he turned to me "Digimon are a type of animal/monster but are digital. They are our friends"
All of a sudden, eight creatures came out of a near by bush running toward the group of people I let out a yap and yelled "Run! There is something coming out of the bushes!" I started to run but heard a "Stop!" I turned around to see that everyone had stopped and was walking to the creatures.
"what are those?" I asked
"We are digimon!" Said all the creatures together.
Later that night, WE were all camping out in a cave. Tai and Sora had a fire going thanks to the help of their digimon Agumon and Biyomon, Matt was Talking to T.K. and their digimon Patamon and Gaubmon was asleep next to them. Joe, and Mimi were out looking for food, along with their digimon, and Kari was talking to Izzy about Gatomon, her digimon.
"Supper!" Yelled Joe as he and Mimi walked up to the cave
"Cool!" I heard T.K. exclaimed as he ran up toward the fire
The next day as we were walking, My crest started to glow, and digivice started acting weird. "Hey guys..." Just then A small digimon came out of the bushes. It looked like a small deer. It had a body like a deer, a head like a cat, and a fox like tail.
agumon spoke up �That looks like a Envmon" Talking to Tai
Just then Envmon looked out at us all "Cindy?" It asked me
"Yes?" I replied watching the small digimon
"I am your digimon!" it said happily
just then tentamon spoke up and started to talk to Izzy "They say, Envmon is the most powerful digimon know about. Its a mystical digimon, and was thought to be made up"
"He He that's ME!" Cried Envmon laughing
"Cool" I said picking u the small creature in my arms and holding it "My very own digimon!"
When we stopped for the night, Tai had started two fights with Matt, gotten lost four times, and made Mimi cry once, so by the time we stopped for the night no one was in a good mood. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T TAKE ANYTHING SEROULY?!?!?!" Screamed Matt
"I didn't say that..." Replied Tai coolly
"Guys Come on quit it! you guys are friends so act like it" Said Sora
"STAY OUT OF THIS SORA!" they both yelled at the same time
"Well, SORRRRY!" Sora walked off in a humph
"Look at t what you did" Said Tai
"ME???? YOU DID IT! YOU STARTED THIS STUPID FIGHT!"
"Did not"
"DID TOO"
"DID NOT"
"DID TOO"
Tai brought his fist back and was just about to strike Matt, then I jumped in and tackled Tai to
the ground. He struggle to get up but I was able to hold him.
"Quit it you guys! Act your age!" I looked strait at Tai
"When I get off, Tai I want you to go the opposite way of Matt, and If I catch either of you to fighting again, I'll kick both of your butts! Understand?!?!?" I yelled, And heard a mumble from Matt, and a nod from Tai.
"Gezze, what a girl has to do for some peace and quite" I said a I got up. Tai Gave Matt a mean look and stuck out his tongue at him, I smacked Tai in the back of the head, Matt laughed, I Gave Matt a dirty look.
"Ok, since our "Leader" can't act like one, I'll take over. Tai go tend to Sora, Matt, Take T.K. and Kari and see if you can find some Dry wood. Joe, Mimi, Izzy, go find some food for everyone, I'll see if I can Find something for a bedding. OK? Meet back here in around a hour ok? Good." And I walked away from the group.
I grab a pad of paper that Jenii had given me the day I left. I grab a pen and sat down near a river and started writing
Dear Whatever,
Man, the last two days have been weird. First We went on a field trip to the observatory, then ended up in the Digital world. A world different from Earth. I don't even think its on earth. Jenii sent me here to this Digital world (long story) But I ended up meting a bunch of people here. Tai, which is the leader of the group, kind of stuck up, and really doesn't think about anyone but him self. Then there is Sora, She�s ok, reminds me of when I was a lot younger. She is real caring, and is like the mother here. There is Izzy, a Computer nerd. He is always on the computer, and is always talking with big words. Joe, is kind of cool, but really annoying. There is T.K. which is SO cute, for such a young boy, and Kari, Tai's little sister, another cutie. and fanilly, there�s Matt. Matt is kind of secretive, I know he's been hurt in the past, just how he acts, but the weird thing is, I normally hate those guys who act like "Mr. Cool" But Matts different, I really like him.

I fanilly went back to camp around a hour later, or at least that's what I thought...
"Where have you've been?" Asked Tai snotty
"Looking for some bedding why?" I motioned to the stuff I brought back for everyone.
"You've been gone for a hour and thirty menuets that's why!" Yelled Tai
"Don't even start on me Tai, or make you eat your words..."
"Don't talk to Tai like that!" spoke up Sora
"Shut-up Sora! I'll talk to Tai the way I want to!" I Hissed at Sora.
"Why you little..." Sora lunged at me, Tai caught her
"You know, I can tell when I'm not wanted, so , I'll leave!" I said hasty and packed my stuff, and left just as Matt, T.K. and Kari came back.
I met them as they were coming back.
"Woh! Were are you going?" asked Matt as I passed them almost in a run
"Somewhere anywhere away from Tai and Sora!" I yelled still running...
"Cindy! Wait!" Yelled Matt.
"Yo what's happened?" asked Matt as soon as he caught up with me.
"Tai was being a jerk, so I told him off, then Sora got in the middle, and I told her off" I exclaimed to Matt
"Wait down by the lake, I'll be right back..." Matt said to me and took T.K. and Kari with them.
"Come on Envmon, Lets go and wait" I sighed and walked with Envmon to the lake.
"Come on T.K., Kari. Lets see what is going on" I said looking back at Cindy. As we walked back into camp Tai Jumped down my thought "And Where have you been?� Tai started in on me.
I just dropped the wood in front of Tai and looked at him.
"I'm leaving, like Cindy, I also know when I'm not wanted. T.K.? If you want to come, get your stuff along with Patamon." I turned and looked at T.K.
I grabbed my stuff, and started to leave, then I turned to Tai
"You know, being a leader is nice, but when you lose friends because of it, Its time to change" And I walked out of camp. T.K. Just stood there as I walked away. I guess it was for the better. I fanilly got to the lake, I could see where Envmon and Cindy sat, She looked real upset. She turned around then and looked surprised to see me with my stuff.
"Tai got to you too?" She asked softly
"Na, I just thought it wasn't right to let you go off by yourself. Its not safe." I lied
then Gaubmon spoke up "But Matt..." I gave him the look of death. He looked confused but kept quite.
"I've got Envmon here, I think I would be safe" She said patting Envmon
"Well, I would feel better if you weren't alone out here still" I stuttered
She giggled. Envmon and Gaubmon looked confused.
"Well, lets get going if we are going to go off by our selfs. We gotta find food, and shelter." I said taking command
"Aye, Aye Sir" She smiled and started walking away from the others.
/Wow, I didn't know that they would react like that/ I sighed taking first watch. After Matt blew up at me, I went for a walk. Of course Sora Followed me. Talking to me, Telling me it wasn't my fault, that Cindy and Matt were jerks, and it was their fault not mine.
"What did he mean by "Being a leader is nice, but when you lose friends because of it, Its time to change"?" I said aloud. Agumon looked at me
"Are you ok Tai?" Asked Agumon
"Yea, buddy, I'm ok" I looked at the fire. /"being a leader is nice." Yea I know. But it is hard, you have to make sure everyone is ok, and that everything goes as planed "lose friends because of it" Because of what? Being a leader? Taking command? Making sure we keep to the plan? I donno...
"Hey Matt, Look at these" I pointed to a fruit.
Envmon walked up to it and picked a few. "These are eaditave" She smiled "Cool, Pick them, we'll set up camp soon. Its getting dark" He said looking at the sky. It was beginning to cloud over, "It looks like a storm is coming, we better find a cave of something"
this time gaumon spoke up "I believe you are right Cindy, it dose look like a storm is bruing" We started walking when up ahead I spotted a cave "Look! Up ahead! A cave!" Just then, Its started to rain.
"I hope that cave is empty!" Yelled Matt
we made it to the cave soaked to the bone
"Brrr... Cold" Said Envmon as she shaking out her fur.
"Yea. that's one cold ran" Said Matt as he looked out the cave opening
"ahcoo" sneezed gabmon
"We need to start a fire" I said looking at Matt.
"Yeah, I know..." He look depressed.
"Envmon? can you see in the dark at all?" I looked at her
"A little" she said
"Go see if there is any wood in the cave at all." I told her as I started to tend to gaubmon trying to dry him off.
"Are you ok Matt?" I looked up at him
"Uh? Yea I'm ok" he said without looking back at me
"T.K. will be ok. I go through the same thing with my sister. Worry wise I mean. My sister doesn't have to deal with deranged digimon, but guns and drugs. It scares me to death. I worry about her all the time. T.K. is a strong boy, he will survive." I said to Matt, even though I knew he wasn't listening.
"Found some wood!" yelled Envmon as she drug up some kindling (Small peaces of wood, good for starting a fire) and some small logs.
"GREAT!" I hugged Envmon
I got the fire going with gaubmons help and the cave became less damp and quite warm. "Matt?" I touched his shoulder He jumped and turned around
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Supper is done" I looked at him
"um... thanks" he said as he took a peace of fruit and began to eat.
"What's wrong?" I asked Matt
"Nothing...." he sighed
/God I hate these type of nights. The rain coming down, the wind howling, the chill of the night, brings back so many memories of that night. The night mom and dad decided to get divorced...
(((Flashback)))
T.K. was only 3 or 4yrs old back then. I myself was only 9. Dad came home late again. But this time he forgot to call
"WHERE HAVE YOU'VE BEEN???" yelled my mother
"Sorry" my father mumbled as he walked into the kichten
"SORRY?!?!?! YOU'RE THREE HOURS LATE!!! COULDN'T HAVE CALLED???" she yelled then said scarcatilly "Of corse not. Who am I thinking about? not you of corse. you LOVE to worry me and the children! and what is that on your shirt? IS THAT LIPSTICK?!?!?!? OK THATS IT!!! I�M LEAVING!! AND I�M TAKING T.K. AND MATT WITH ME!" She yelled and started sobbing
"Mommy? what is going on?" I walked out of my room.
"Grab your brother! Were going on a trip." Said my mother
"OH NO YOU DON'T!! YOU'RE NOT LEAVING!!" said my father grabbing my mothers wrist.
"LET GO OF ME!"
"NO WAY YOU LITTLE WHORE" And he hit her, giving her a black eye...
((((End of flash back))))
"and they left" I said in a whisper
Just then Cindy touched my shoulder
Matt?" she said. I jumped and turned around
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Supper is done" She told me.
"um... thanks" I said nervously, /did she hear me?/ I sat down and ate some of the fruit "What's wrong?" she asked me looking worried
"Nothing...." I replied in a sigh.
The next morning, I woke up, Matt was fixing breakfast "Good morning sunshine!" Matt said happily.
"Um... Good Morning Yourself! your in a good mood today." I acted kind of surprised "Yea..." Just then our digivices started going off...
"Um... looks like Tai and them are off early start" I stared at my digivise as 7 dots came onto the screen
"Great should we get moving?" Matt asked me
"No, Lets just wait. If they try to start something Envmon and gaubmon will be here for backup." I said. "Besides, Maybe Tai wants to ask for our forgiveness!" I laughed. "Not likely! Tai is so thick headed, he probily wants us to apologies to him!" He begins to laugh "Want some Breakfast?" He asked me
"Sure! I'm starving!"
"Well, Izzy which way?" I asked
"Left Tai, on the other side of the lake. Thats where the signal seemed to be the strongest." Izzy explained
"Ok..." I sighed. I didn't get a a good night sleep. I was worried about Matt and Cindy. I thought about what he said. I know what I need to do... "I hope you two let me" I whispered...
"Um... Matt?" I yelled from the back of the cave.
"What?" He yelled from the cave entrances
"You gotta see this!" I yelled
"What? wow..." Matt started to say until he saw what I was talking about. In the back of the cave, where there was little light, was some carvings. One of the carvings resembled Matts crests, The crest of Friendship and another looked like mine, The crest of Life.
"This looks almost like a story of some sort." I said as I looked at some of the other carvings.
"Boy do I wish Izzy was here..." I said aloud
"um... The signaled just vanished" Izzy said mystified
"Well, lets keep heading in the way they were last located, maybe they are still there" /I hope/ suddenly they came up to a cave, where there was still a fire crackling.
"Matt? Cindy?" I yelled into the cave. Suddenly Envmon came to the front of the cave
"What do you want?" She asked rudly
"Where is Matt and Cindy?" I asked Envmon
"Why do you want to know?" Envmon started to go off "Its ok Envmon! Let them in!" yelled Matt.
"Hey Izzy, Bring your laptop with you please. Where in the back of the cave." Cindy yelled.
"I feel like Like were walking into a trap." Whispered Sora
"I know the feeling..." I turned to Sora. We walked into the cave, we could see a light in the very back of the cave. as we go closer to the end of the cave, the light became brighter till we came to a cave chamber lit by fire. Cindy and Matt along with gaubmon stood next to a wall. T.K. Ran over to Matt and hugged him.
"What do you need Izzy and his laptop for?" Asked Kari
"Well, look at this wall. See all of thoses carvings? I don't know what all of them mean. But it has something to do with the crest of friendship and the crest of life." Cindy explained. "I was hoping if Izzy would be so kind, To see if he could figure out what these mean." This time looking at Izzy, who was already booting up his computer and typing away. I could see Cindy starting to smile. I also could see Sora roll her eyes. I muffled a laugh.
most of the group went to the opening of the cave to camp for the night. MAtt was tending to T.K. and Cindy was out looking for some dry wood. Everyone was on pens and needles knowing that everyone was getting moodier, including the digimon. Everyone was resting, when you heard a echoed and muffled "PRODIGIES!" from deep in the cave. Everyone ran to the back of the cave, including Cindy who had just returned with a load of wood.
"What Izzy?" I asked in a humph
"I think I've figured out Some of the symbols..."
"What do they mean?" Cindy interrupted Izzy.
He looked annoyed but replied "This is what I think it means. "The holders of the crest of friendship and the crest of life, will enterally be together, whether it be..." this is where it gets confusing, but maybe the digimon can help out "gethers and gethers, gethermon and domatmon, or domatmon and domatmon..." What type of digimon are thoses?" Izzy looked at all the digimon. Tentomon spoke up...
"There not a digimon really, a type. I'm a gethermon, along with gaubmon, patamon, agumon, and gomon, and Palmon, Gatomon, Envmon, and byimon are Domatmon." Tentomon explaned. "Oh, I bet that is the sex of a digimon" I said aloud to the group
"I bet your right Tai" Izzy replied then went back to reading the carvings "or domatmon and domatmon, they will be together always." And thats all I can figure out" Izzy sighed I looked around, everyone was thinking about what Izzy just said. Cindy had dissapered again along with Envmon.
/um... where did cindy go?/
I had to get out of there. I had looked over at Matt when Izzy read the carvings. He had this NO WAY! look on his face. I know I was in shock. "enterally be together. How? Why?..." I mumbled
"Whats wrong Cindy?" Asked Envmon
"Nothing little one, just a little in shock." I told her as I we walked out into the forest.
"Oh..."
we walked till we came to a cliff I sat down at the edge and looked over. It wasn't far down, around 25 feet, with a lake at the bottom suddenly out of nowhere, someone came up behind me and pushed me from behind. I fell . "Aug!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed.
"Yo! MAtt, I figured out some more of the carvings!" yelled Izzy.
I walked over to where Izzy was setting. /where did she go?/ I thought "yea?" I looked at Izzy. "IF anything should happen to the holder of The crest of Friendship and/or the holder of The crest of Life, a fear will over come the other, like never before, telling them , that the other is in trouble." Izzy read.
"Is that all?" I asked Izzy
"So far." He said as he started to type again.
I walked out to the cave entrance, where everyone else was. "Hey Tai? Where did Cindy and Sora go?" I asked
"I don't know. Cindy disappeared a while ago, and Sora right after." He said without looking up.
Suddenly, a sudden feeling came over me, fear. "Guys, something is wrong with Cindy!"
/He He!!! That will take care of her!/ I laughed out loud. Then Envmon came out "What in the hell did you do?!?!?!" She yelled I shuged and smiled sudnell I heard a "CINDY!" It was Matt... /I gotta get rid of that digimon, so she can't tell/ "Well, Envmon Come here and I�ll tell you..." Envmon came closer /dumb digimon/ I grabbed her and covered her mouth. "ha ha ha" I laughed and looked around. /Where to throw this digimon. I can't kill her, I have no reason! she hasn't done anything to me.../ "OUCH!" I cried letting go of Envmon. "You Bite Me!" I yelled. She took off toward the cave. I chased after her But she made it to the cave before I did. I walked into the cave and went to grab Envmon "Come here little digimon..." I started saying
"HELP!" yelled Envmon I grabbed her and turned around just to be blocked in by Tai and Joe. "Where are you been?� Exclamed Joe "And what are you doing to Envmon?" Suddenly Matt came into the cave. I loosen my grip on Envmon's mouth and she bite me again. "OUCH!" I yelled again "Why you little..." I was cut off my what Envmon said "Sora threw Cindy over a cliff! then tried to get rid of me!"
"WHAT?!?!?!" I screamed. "If you weren't a girl, I would punch you!" I looked at Envmon, "Where did she go over Envmon?" I looked at Envmon she started to run. "If Your not here when I come back Sora, I'll find you! And make you pay!" I yelled as I followed Envmon /I hope Cindy is ok.../
We came to the cliff where Cindy fell. "CINDY!!!!" I yelled I got no response. "I gotta get down there. I put my foot over the edge and started climbing down /easy... easy.../ I thought. Fanilly After around 30 mins of climbing down, I reached the bottem. I started looking around. "Cindy!!!!!" I yelled again, this time I heard a mone. I ran toward the mone, and found Cindy on the bank of the water. I picked her up and held her in my arms "Cindy? Are you ok? are you awake?" I Whispered ./come on cindy answer me.../
I opened my eyes, hearing my name. I opened my eyes, and looked up into some ocean blue eyes that were sparkling with tears. "Cindy?" it was Matt. I smiled up at him "yes?" "are you ok?" He looked at me with worry.
"Fine besides a very bad head ache." I said rubbing my head.
"Well, I still want Joe to look you over" he said as he picked me up. "Envmon. how did you get down here?" Matt asked to her.
"By a path." she replied at turned and began to walk toward the path.
"Thank you Matt." I said as a huge throbbing in my head became intense, I passed out.
"she's going to be ok." Explaned Joe "I think she has a minor concussion. But she looks ok besides that." Giving Sora a dirty look.
I could her Sora mumbling in the background. I bent down next to Cindy and held her hand. Everyone pretty much split, and went and did something. I could hear Kari and T.K. laughing and singing, but only could catch a few word "sitting in a tree". "Come on girl wake up." just then she started to stir. "Cindy?" She looked up at me with her green eyes. "Matt?" She said weakly a small smile on her face. "I'm here." I said softly. She sat up and looked around. "where is Sora?" She said with some anger in her voice.
"I donno, but Dr. Joe said no fighting, that includes fist, cat fights, and yelling, for at least 24hrs." I joked, Cindy laughed, then winced in pain. she grabbed her head. "Cindy? whats wrong?" I looked into her eyes. "Migraine!" She smiled...
/NO NO NO!!!!! Matt is suppose to be worrying about me! not her!?/ I watched as she and Matt was talking. /she was suppose to die! why won't my plans ever work/ I sighed and sat down outside the cave. Everyone was giving me dirty looks, Tai even came up to me and asked me "What was you thinking?" /What was I thinking?/ I asked myself. then said alous "about myself."
Ok, Its only took me a week to write this far, But I'm kind of going to skip to when the digidestined just defeated myoldestmon. and their going home... with a little bit of a change...
I was laying back soaking in some sun thinking about the last few months. Jenii sent me a laptop to help out Izzy, Sora fanilly got over Matt and is going out with Tai, and Kari and T.K. are still so cute. We just got done fighting Myoldestmon and were resting. the digimon were so tired, they slept all day.
"Jenii sent us a message!" yelled Izzy, who beleve it or not is begging to have a life outside of his computer. we all gathered around the computer.
"Hello my friends" Said the computer "The digital world has returned to normal, and the dark and light have reequlized. Tomorrow at noon, you will have to leave to return home. Your digimon must stay to keep the world balanced. I'm sorry. Jenii" That was all. everyone turned to their digimon which were asleep so they didn't hear the e-mail. "We can't take them with us?" Cried T.K. as he lifted up Patamon.
"T.K. let patamon sleep. he deserves it." Matt told his brother who sat Patamon down. I looked over at phillymon, Envmon in training /How could I ever say good bye to you?/ I asked myself then went back to the tree where I was soaking up some rays. Then it hit me. /They all live in Japan! They all speak Japanese!! How will I talk to them? How will I see them? How will I say goodbye... To Matt???/ A tear came to my eye. I looked at all these people I came to be good friends with (Even Sora) better friends then I've ever had. I couldn't say goodbye to all of them... Suddenly, a portal appeared next to me and dropped off a camera. "The Digital world. It never lets me down!" I smiled. "Hey Guys!"
That hit me hard. "how can we say goodbye to people, and digimon, that have saved our lifes?" I looked at Tsunomon Then looked at all the other digimon. I turned around to see Cindy setting next to a tree. "How can I say goodbye to her?" I Whispered Suddenly, a portal opened next to her and something popped out. next thing I her is "Hey Guys!..."
"Sora, calm down! Save your crying for tomorrow!" I said as I held her. /Tomorrow. tomorrow will come to fast/ I thought I looked over at Joe who was holding Mimi tring to get her to stop crying. /Everyone is upset./ I thought /I gotta make everyone a bit happier, some how.../my thoughts were interrupted by Cindy. She was yelling "Hey Guys!"
"Tai, I don't think I can say goodbye to her! To anyone!" I started crying. Tai said in reply "Sora, calm down! Save your crying for tomorrow!" /Thats Tai for you/ I thought to my self. I looked around and caught sight of Matt. /I feel even worst for him. Him and Cindy don't act like a couple a lot of the time, but they are, and they will have to say goodbye soon. to their love/ I looked up at Tai who was looking over at Joe and Mimi ?I�m glad my love will still be with me.../ Suddenly I head Cindy Yell. "Hey Guys!"
"Everyone say Cheese!" Said a passing digimon.
"Cheese!" Yelled everyone.
"Cindy! I want a copy of all thoses photos!" Yelled Mimi
"No problem! I'll make copies and send everyone a copy..." Cindy got quiter as she said it. "Just don't expect to get a letter..."
"Why not?" Asked T.K. who was holding patamon
"Cause, I can't write in Japanese" Cindy said almost crying. I walked over to her and gave her a hug and kissed her. "Don't worry Cindy, You will get communicate with us somehow..." She smiled at me and kissed me back. "Matt, I .. I... I.." She stuttered but then turned away but then smiled at everyone. It was just getting around dusk, and everyone was awake including our digimon, which had digivolved back into their training stage. "I have a ideal." Cindy Said out of nowhere. "Everyone including digimon, Sit around the fire." Everyone had a seat. Cindy and I sat on the ground I had her in my arms... /I can stay like this for ever/ I thought. but Cindy spoke up. "Everyone say what their few favorite things about being trapped in the digital world.! Its lame, but why not. its our last nights together for awhile." She looked kind of sad so I hugged her. "Who wants to go first..." I cut her off. "I will!"
She smiled. "Well first, The best thing so far to happen to me while in the digital world, was when Sora pushed you off that cliff, making me relize how much I loved you." I looked over at Sora who was red in the face "Sorry about that Cindy..." Cindy laughed "It was nothing. someone should try to kill me more often!" everyone started to laugh. "But I would also like to think that my other favorite thing is me making so many life long friends, that I never thought was possible." Everyone smiled about that one...
The digimon all went after each other, saying pretty much the same thing. Meeting us. Then Tai went...
"I like to think that my favorite thing about being here was A: Sora tring to kill Cindy then figuring out that it was I she loved no Matt..." "AIN�T I EVER GOING TO LIVE IT DOWN!?!?!?!?!?!" Sora interrupted tai. Everyone just busted out laughing. "B: that I met people that care about me and trusted me to be a leader, and C: Agumon over there." Everyone went follow tai. Till it was late and Everyone started to fall asleep. Cindy and I went on a walk till we came to the spot we first met each other...
"Remember this place?" I asked Matt he shook his head "Where you first came into the digital world." he started to rub his back "how could I forget?" "Oh come on! it could have been worse!" I Laughed.. "I could have weighed 300lbs instead of 114lbs!" I teased "Oh... my back hurts thinking about it!" We laughed. We found a tree to set agist, and relaxed. I brought my laptop. "Matt?" I asked
"Yea?" he said looking at me
"is this Japanese?' I booted up my laptop showing him the program. "Yes. Yes it is." he smle and started reading it
"Dear Matt, If your reading this, that means a few things, First this is Japansice, it also may mean One I�m dead (I hope to god I'm not) or two, were going back to the real word. Matt, I have to confess. I love you Matt. I love you so much. I don't want to leave you, but if destiny has a reason, we shall get back together. I wish I could say this to you instead of having you read it, but by now you know me well enough, thats its hard for me to open up to anyone.
Love, C.' He looked at me I was red in the face. 'All he did was lean over and kiss me, in a way he never has. It felt so perfect, so right. Finally we had to quit cause we were out of breath. "So," He asked after a few minuets "What was the C. all about?" He asked me I looked up at him. "I always end note like that, its my way, so if they fall into the wrong hands, I can blame it on someone else" I saw a smile come on his face. I curled up to him and we fell asleep under the tree, the sky and the stars.
We woke up to Envmon and Gabumon's voices "MATT! CINDY!" they yelled. I yelled back "OVER HERE!" that woke up Matt. "Did you need to yell in my ear to wake me up?" he said with a joking voice. I just answered with a kiss.
"There you two are!� Cried Envmon who started crying. "We thought you guys left before saying goodbye!" She sobbed "Never my little one,." I hugged her. Matt was tending to Gabumon. We walked back to camp and two our surprise, Jenii, was standing there. "Matt, Cindy welcome! would you like some fish?" He looked at me
"No thanks, I�ll wait till I get home to eat!" Everyone laughed.
It was time to go. Everyone was staying final good-byes. I would be leaving differently then the others, A few mins after the did. So I was saying good bye to all of them. As the trolley car took off, I heard Matt yell "I love you!".
I left in tears as I stepped though a portal that looked like the one that dropped me off in the digital world. I wound up on my front step of my house. where I was welcomed home by my family.

Just then I herd the You've got mail! go off on my computer. IT was from Matt...
Dear Cindy,
I miss you too. Yea, Kari and T.K. are still "Going out" along with Sora and Tai. We still tease her about tring to kill you, she doesn�t find it funny. Everyone is pretty much the same. Mimi moved to America, New York to be exact, Joe is studing to be a doctor, and Izzy is still a computer neard. I'm a lead singer in a band, maybe we will come to America soon. I'm also learning English, so if you ever come over here, we can talk. Izzy believes that our digivices may act like translators though, if so, me learning English is a waste of time =).
I can't believe its been almost a year sense "The Battle" No one over here uses the digimons name, but it seams like A millennium to me. Izzy has figured how to get you through the digiport, the program needs to be downloaded to your computer though. It may take awhile. I hope it works. If it does, we are going to go to the digiworld tomorrow at 3pm our time, 9pm yours. stay over at someone's house. please try to get there.
