About Us



The first thing you probably want to know is where the name of the site came from. Well, I debated about a variety of names, but eventually settled on Digicandi. It stands for Digital Candy. "Desserts in the Digital Age."
I'm the confectioner who this site was set up to showcase the works of. I got into baking at an early age, learning from family members. And my interest in confections and sweets just grew from there.
It was my Mother that introduced me to molded chocolates. She made them for my siblings and I during the holidays. They were beautiful works and real inspirations for me. She taught me how the art of how to make them, and later I went on to take official classes. Candy molding, cake decorating, ect.
I have continued to take classes, and always will. I believe that there is always more to learn. My goal is to become a Proffesional Confectioner and Pastry Chef. I am pleased with the level I have reached so far, and set up this site to showcase the works I am most proud of. I welcome the chance to share my creations with others.
