...Or not. It's fairly simple; there's just a few hotkeys you need to know...that's all. Double clicking the program will open it, obviously. Now, you will notice four rectangles in the upper part of the screen. When the program starts the one on the left will have a weird symbol-like thingy in the lower-right corner of the rectangle. That means that that color is currently the active color. If you click on the actual digital stencil part of the screen, it will place that color where you click. Pretty neat, huh? Anyways, clicking in either of the other three color rectangles will make that color the active color to be placed in the digital stencil. What if you want to change the color, you ask? Simple, just hold down the left shift key while clicking the color you want to change. A smaller window-like thing will pop up with red, green, and blue values for the color. You can click on the lines that correspond to each color to change that particular color value, until you find the color you need. Then, click 'OK' to accept and apply the changes, or click 'CANCEL' to reject the changes and stick with the color that was in place before you started tinkering with the RGB values. Remember that when you change a particular color, all spots on the digital stencil that were the original color will become the new color, so don't try to get 1000 colors into the stencil, cause I doubt you have that many cans of spraypaint. When you want to save your stencil, simply press the Enter or Return key, depending on what kind of keyboard you have. This should save the picture. I would recommend you do this twice, with a few seconds between each time, because this step does not always like working. But, when you complete that step, press the Esc button to quit. Then go to the folder that the program was installed into. It should be 'C:\Program Files\DigiCamo'. From there, click the 'Pattern' folder. Your stencil should be named 'Pattern.bmp', and should be located in that folder. I would advise cutting it and pasting it somewhere else on your hard drive, because it will be overwritten if you leave it in that folder and save another digital stencil with the program. You can then open it in any picture editing program, I use paint, it's what I designed it for, and print it. If you want to make the stencil larger or smaller, you can, that's a feature I never got to in the program. So, once it's printed, you should be able to use it as a digital stencil to aid you in painting your paintball gun...or whatever else you want to use it for. Hopefully this guide helped, and if you need any other help, would like to point out an error, etc., please contact me at [email protected].
