In Europe, where I grew up diverse cultures and languages surrounded me. Because of that I developed early awareness that self-expression was more successful when it was based on visual rather than verbal elements. Historical events, education and family take an influence in most of my work. I have worked over the years in several genres, which include pencil, ink (realistic and cartoon), acrylic paint, airbrush, paper (origami, kirigami, sculptures), clay (sculptures), and photography (any genre), film animation and video. I still use the conventional forms of artistic expression, but enhance my work through computer generated art, which allows for more immediacy, and a fluid type of artistic expression

08/2002 Moved Artist in Residence grant to Prosser Valley Charter School.

2002 Commission from the County of Lassen to design and build the Lassen County booth for the California State Fair in Sacramento. The booth was awarded with the silver Metal.
