Waynemon: Here is part 2 of First Full Day.
Chapter 3: First Full Day (part 2)
Matt lay on his stomach bored out of his mind. Early in the day when he been on the bed the nurse came in and took his Laptop away, then told him to lay on his stomach only so his back can heal. “She said I can use it why did she just take it and told me to lay here and do nothing but look at the door entrance…” Matt thought with a sigh.
Miss Renawhite came into the room “I know that you think I am mean and all, but I read up on back injuries and sitting like that wouldn’t help you so…”
“You took my laptop away so I can lay like this and let my back heal” Matt finished and she nodded in reply. “You can sit up while you eat your lunch” Miss Renawhite helps him to sit up against a few soft pillows. She walks out the room and bring in a tray with food on it “I hope you like eating fruit and vegetables, I only aloud healthy food in the infirmary to be eaten”
Matt looked what was on the tray when Miss Renawhite placed it down on a table that fits over the bed just high enough for the person sitting there to take that food and eat it. Matt saw on it, a mixed bowl of fruit and a cup of harp tea. “Those apples look good” Matt took one and bit into it “It taste nice”
“Thank you, I grow them myself in the green house down by the lake, I have the light and water to make nice fruit and vegetables” Matt smiled and said back “You do a great job growing them then, this fruit is the best I ever had and it not upsetting my stomach like other fruit would.” Miss Renawhite gave a surprised look “I guess I did something right for once.”
Matt was still giving a warm smile “I can tell you this, I couldn’t have ask for a better nurse.” Miss Renawhite smiled back “Thank you young man, now eat up” she walks out the room leaving Matt alone to eat his lunch. Matt stopped eating for a second realizing what she called him “Young man? Must be another one of those weird figure of speeches”
“Hey Matt, how you feeling? I heard what happened” a voice Matt heard and knew too well “Hi Jason” Jason walked into the room and got up on the chair sitting down on it “Well how are you feeling?” Jason asked the question again “Well I am ok I guess, bored out of my mind since the nurse took my laptop from me and told me to lay on my stomach for the last few hours, but other then that I am ok” Jason smiled at Matt’s reply “That good to know, oh be the way I think I might have crack a small piece of ice with Sanoku” Matt gave a surprised look “Really?”
“Yeah, I sat next to him, at first he was all rude and slowly during the lesson we got to know each other a bit better and he seem to slide away from that bully side you told me about.” Jason said to Matt. Matt shuck his head “I don’t think so, he might have only done it so you think that” Jason stared into his friends eyes and knew he could be right about Sanoku “I guess you could be right” Jason muttered.
I hope Matt is wrong, but his a Agumon of his word and usually right… maybe for once he is wrong…” Jason’s deep thought was broke when thunder could be heard outside “Looks like that storm over the bridge finally reach the academy” Jason looked out the window to have a look for his self. “Whoa… that is a large dark storm… I am glad being in here then out there.” Matt looked over at Jason unable to see what outside because his bed was placed at an angle that made it impossible for him to look out it from where he was. “That storm from what I read on the Digi-net is the largest storm to hit around here for a hundred years”
An announcement came from the speakers “This is the Head Master, there is a storm heading this way and from what I been told this is the largest storm to hit for the last 100 years.
All students and stuff please make your way to the nearest building, lock the doors soon as everyone is in and close all windows. Till the storm passes over all classes will be put on hold.
Do not worry about the Food supply we have enough back food supplies in each building to last for 5 days, one teacher from each building will be in charge of the wealth fair of the students.
Classes will return to normal soon as the storm has passed” the announcement ends
“This is great, our first full day here in the Academy and this stupid storm comes and put everything on hold” Matt sighed and Jason looked over at him from the window “At least I am here to keep you company”
Matt smiled “Yeah your right Jason”
“Not all the time, you’re the smarty pants” Jason smirked and Matt chuckled
“You surprised me Jason, you are usually annoyed at me being a smart pants all the time” Jason went over to the chair and pulled out a device “Matt I made this in class, it a holo…”
“Holo-Device, I know. I got three of those in my bag” Jason looked over at Matt from the chair after putting the device back in the bag “You always one up on me…”
“Not all the time Jason, you surprised me a few times” Jason smirked at that comment knowing he was gave some surprises that Matt wasn’t expecting. “Matt what do you think we can do to pass the time by?” Matt adjusted his glasses as he looked at the Veemon “We can talk or play some games, like cards”
Jason went to the door that lend out the room “Where are you going?” Matt wondered watching Jason go to the door. Jason turned around looking at Matt “I am going to find so playing cards, I am sure I saw some on the nurse’s desk, I am going to ask if we can use them for a time till the storm pass over” Matt nodded in reply and Jason turn the door knob.
He opened the door. Jason walked out the room leaving Matt alone once more but he was glad to be sitting up against the soft pillows instead of laying forwards on his stomach. “All the people in the academy I had to knock myself silly, At least my back pain is not intense then it was a few hours ago. A good sign that I will be back on my own two feet” Matt thought as he waits for Jason to come back with some cards. He took another piece of fruit and bites into it.
Jason came back and saw Matt eating the piece of fruit “When did you eat fruit?” Jason asked with surprise in his voice. “Try one and tell me what you think” Matt picked up one and tossed it to Jason, Jason dropped the pack of cards and caught the piece of fruit; he took a bite into it. “This… is… fanatic!” Jason said in between bites into the fruit.
Jason finish off eating the fruit that Matt gave him and he picks up the cards. He walked over to the bed pulled the chair up to the bed and sat down on it taking the cards out the packet. Jason deals the cards out after shuffling them. They start playing 3’s and 4’s. (A/N: A card game I know of)
Sanoku exit Building 2 even after the teachers told him to stop and not go out in the storm. He didn’t listen to them or his dad as he walked out the doors, it was raining very heavy and Sanoku was getting very wet. Lucky his jacket was waterproof so the skin under the jacket was the only parts to not get went as he walked quietly down the path towards the lake.
Sanoku looked at the object in his left hand as he walked “You always knew a way to end a spat… mum thank you” Sanoku spoke softly to no one.
~Flashback~
Sanoku was getting ready for the next day that he would leave home and go to Digital Academy. A female Flamedramon walked into the room and sighed “Son… I know that you made your mind up but please don’t go, that place is not for Digimon like you” Sanoku looked at his mother and groaned, “It my choice and I am not backing out”
“You will back out and I will make you if possible”
Sanoku turned away and carried on getting things ready not listening to her.
“I am talking to you Sanoku, don’t turn your back on me!” Sanoku’s mother snapped
“What can I do!? You are not letting me have a chance to prove that I can take care of myself!” Sanoku bellowed back at his mother. “Don’t shut at me! I am your mother and if you walk out that door tomorrow, don’t ever come back!!” Sanoku glared at her hearing those words “FINE! I will never come back to this dump!” Sanoku growled and his mother left the room slamming the door shut as she left.
~End of Flashback~
Sanoku looked at the ready-socked letter and the words on it said.
‘Dear Son
If you wish to come home anytime I
will be glad to let you back in, sorry for yelling at you like that, I am just
afraid to lose my only son.
I sent you a badge size family crest, I hope you like it
and accept it for an apology. Write back once a week so we can keep in touch
that one way I will not worry to death about you being safe and well.
Good Luck at Digital Academy
Sanoku sat down on the wet bench looking at the family crest in his left hand with a warm smile “I will mum, I will send you a letter once a week. That a promise” Sanoku felt sun light on his face and he looked up to see the storm breaking up.
Even this storm was the largest in over 100 years it was not that strong to cause massive damage, only flooding in low areas of footpaths between buildings where flooded and that was still not good news to the head master, teachers and students.
Sanoku smiled seeing the storm is over and looked a bit down. As he did that he noticed a rainbow “Wow… that is beautiful, I am glad I did come all the way out here, I am seeing a sight for sore eyes” Sanoku said with happiness.
Meanwhile at a dark place where no one knows where it is a shadowy Digimon stares at a snow filled screen like he was waiting for something or someone. Suddenly the screen came to life so to speak and an image of a Raidramon appeared on it. “Is this line…” the Raidramon started and the shadowy Digimon cuts it “Yes it is, what is your progress getting the egg?”
“Slow, I have to find a chance to get to his bag without being spotted, I will get it don’t worry” the Raidramon replys with calmness.
“Good Max, I been after that egg for ten long years and soon it will be in my hands. Soon as all the gold pieces are found and placed in the circle matrix chamber with the egg included we can finally get to the unknown lands on the other side of Icemon sea.” The shadowy Digimon sneered at his objective getting close to completion.
“Devilish there is a gold piece in the library but it has alarms around the casing, I can get that for you with a little help” Devilish stepped out the shadows reviving half robotic body of a Devimon “Since that day I wish to take my revenge on the government to what they done to me… it will be easy when I have a whole landmass to myself” Devilish chuckled “Now go and get it for me”
“I will” Max said and the screen turns off leaving the snowstorm screen again on Devilish’s side. “46 years I been living like a freak…” Devilish grabs the sliver plated cup and squeezed, crashing the cup into ball shape “That space program was nothing but a trap… to kill me and the others, soon I will crash the East Sector Government and rule the most technically sector in the world!” Devilish throws the sliver ball like shape onto the ground still staring at the screen with one blue eye and one red robotic eye.
“Matt I don’t think the nurse will be very happy seeing you get out of bed” Matt ignored Jason as he got out of the bed and put his feet on the floor by the bed “Jason, I want to get out of this place, I am bored stiff in that bed and I will take it easy”
Jason shook his head and sighed. “If the nurse comes I am staying out of it”
Matt shrugged as he put his backpack on “Agu-head think about it, you usually follow rules” Matt looked at Jason “Pepper Breath!” a right size fireball comes out of Matt’s mouth and head to Jason.
Jason grabbed the metal tray and put it up in front of him, the fireball hit and makes a burn mark in the middle of the tray. Jason brought the tray down from in front and looked at the burn mark with surprise “You did, you did a attack…”
Matt smirked and replied “Yes I did, I finally able to do my fireball attack” Jason smiled forgetting that it was targeted at him “Lets go before the nurse comes” Matt nodded in reply and both made their way out the room to the exit of the Infirmary.
Miss Renawhite watches from her office and smiled “I already know, you are a fast healer Matt, good luck in the academy to both of you” She looked down at the paper work and started to do the paper work she had be asked to do.
Dave opened his eyes still feeling pain in his head from that shock he had to his body. Dave sat up on the bed and noticed something odd, the cell he and the other two Adam and Mike was in was… paradise so to speak. “Are we in a…” Dave didn’t get to finish what he was saying when Adam spoke “We are prisoners but it seem they treat them in some weird way”
Dave got off the bed and stood on his two feet looking around the cell they were in. It had four nice soft beds in the corner by the bared windows, the cell down also stuck out if it wasn’t for two potted plants by each side of the door. There was another room that surprise Dave while looking around and it was the bathroom. “This is crazy, I was like shocked almost to death and we in a cell that anyone would gladly be prisoners in it” Dave thought as he looked around the main room. There was a TV with nice sofas in front of it. This was really creeping out Dave now seeing all this stuff. There was also a pool table and a training area with punching bags, weights and etc. One thing that wasn’t there a kitchen, But there was a table with four chair around it in the middle of the room.
Mike was sitting at the table with his arms crossed and eyes
closed probably thinking deeply about something to Dave’s point of view. “That Leomon never say much, but when Mike
does he comes out with good information” Dave thought and sat down on the opposite side of the table. Mike
opened his eyes and looked at the bladeless masked Flamedramon “Your wondering
why they are treating us so kindly. Right?” Dave nodded in reply to what Mike
said.
Adam on the other
hand was punching the punching bag not taking much notice of Mike and Dave’s
conversation in the middle of the room. “Well, even they want to destroy the
government of the East sector they have a rule that they follow by the book,
they treat all Digimon the same. Even they are, guards, stuff or even
prisoners. If you notice, they removed your armour garnets that over your
clawed hands. They took my sword and Adam’s bone club.” Mike spoke calmly that
gave Dave the shakes. Dave never could get use to his pals’ calm truthly
comments.
“But they are
willing to kill my son for the egg that he still got since I left him and my
wife eight years ago” Dave said to Mike. Mike nodded and said “Yes in deed they
are, but that is a last resort that they will use thou, this is the rule book
they follow” Mike pushes it to Dave’s side of the table. Dave picked it up and
started to read it.
End of the first day of lessons, Matt and Jason walked down the path to the middle that was in between the 5 buildings. “Only two lessons today, that kind of cool having all this time to ourselves” Matt looked at Jason and gave a reply that wasn’t good news to Jason or any the students would like to hear. “Well Jason, this is the first day, tomorrow we have about 6 to 8 lessons with a hour lunch break and two 30 breaks”
“I think I know, we all was given time tables, I am just glad they took it easy on us for the first day, but I would like to enter this Rookie Team Championship that is held for first, second and third years.” Soon as Jason said second years and third years matt remembered what he was told “Tomorrow the second and third years will be arriving by Locomon 03 and 04” Jason didn’t like the sound of what Matt just said in that unhappy tone.
“Don’t worry Matt, I am sure we will get through the second day without to much trouble” Jason tried to sound reassuring to his Agumon friend.
“I guess your right, no point worrying yourself to death” Matt said in a equally reassuring tone to Jason his Veemon friend.
They exit the forest path to enter the central gardens “Every time we come into view of this place it never stop amazing me with all this greenery and different types of flowers” Matt spoke with a toothed smile looking around at the view he had when walking more into the garden with Jason.
“I been brought up with flowers and greenery all around my home, but it is still a beautiful place to be in” Jason spoke in a calm and happy tone looking around the place as they walked down the path to the fountain in the middle of the garden.
“You was raised in a Village Jason, I was raised in a large city that was very technologic advance to any other city in all four Sectors” Matt thought soundly as he stopped at a bench and sat on it with Jason who also decided to take a break by sitting on the same bench. “Jason, have you heard of a place called Tech Omega City?”
Jason looked at Matt and gave a truthly answer “Yeah I have, it over the large bridge next to Shoremon town right?”
“Yes that bridge is the main link to this island and the main land of East Sector, I lived on the other side of the bridge in Tech Omega City, me and my parents lived there for a while before moving to this island and living in Tokco Village.” Matt told Jason and the first time telling anyone where he lived before coming to the Village.
“Now I know why you got that laptop, it from that city, I wished I could visit it and see what it is like for myself” Matt smirked at Jason’s comment, he sounded like a young explorer that wish to see the whole world for himself.
“Maybe you will Jason” Jason smiled hearing that from Matt
“Who could of asked for a better friend?” Jason thought to himself “We might not get along but Matt sees what I am talking about”
Max laid on his stomach in te bushes watching Jason and Matt
talking to each. He looked around the area in his view and saw no one else
around “Maybe I can chance it…” Max mumbled to himself and got up going to take
a open window to get the egg but just as he was going to attack. Sanoku comes
into view exitting the woodland path that lend to the lake. “Damn… bad timing…” Max thought and start walking away into the
woodland.
“I will complete the
task soon… maybe I can in 2 to 4 weeks time when that championship is being
held” the Raidramon gave a smile
at that thought of getting the egg and blade. He disappears into the thick
woodland as he walked away from the gardens.
Sanoku had been at
the lake all afternoon classes holding tight to the family crest and letter
thinking deeply about his mother.
Few moments after
he left the lake he found himself at central Gardens seeing Jason and his
Agumon friend. Sanoku looked t the Agumon again as he walked closer to the two
sitting on the bench.
“I seen that Agumon
somewhere before…” Sanoku thought
and then remembered “Matt…” Sanoku whispered to himself seeing the geek Agumon
again… Sanoku stopped a few feet away from the bench and said “So we meet again
Geek Agumon” Matt looked at Sanoku and sighed in reply.
“I see you recalled
old memoirs” Matt turn away and said back “Yes and you are still a bully,
should…”
“Matt… Sanoku is an
ok guy, even thou his a tough one to make friends with” Jason whispered to
Matt; cutting Matt off also in mid-sentence.
Matt sighed knowing
Jason is right “He might act weird
for a friend but he sure knows what to sat at the right time…” Matt thought and looked back at Sanoku “How
about we drop this little spat we had for six years and get on with our lives… I
would like to be friends with ya” Matt said and all Sanoku did was snorted and
walked away.
Matt and Jason got off the bench and walked over to the fountain talking to each other, as they got closer to it “I know his a tough nut but why be so unfriendly after we been friendly to him…” Jason wondered and Matt looked at Jason stopping by the fountain “His just a jerk with a over pride of being number… OW!!” Matt held his foot after Jason stamped on it “Why did you do that for!?” Matt growled in anger while hopping on one foot holding the other one with his three clawed hands.
“It not nice talking about someone behind their backs… that why I did that” Jason simple replied and Matt put his foot down on the ground and grabbed Jason on the shoulders. Jason did the same and then they throw each other over the wall of the fountain and into the water with a big splash.
A few seconds later they get hold of the edge and pull themselves out the fountain and back onto the ground looking at one another.
“I guess that one way to cool ourselves” Jason joked and started to laugh “I guess so” Matt said back and started to laugh as well, both walk down the path to the building where their rooms are at laughing a joking all the way back.

be up soon as possible that if I don’t get eaten out of house and home…
