Yarber, Emma West, age 86,of Lake City passed away May 6 at the Methodist Medical Center. Member of Pine Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son, Vern West, daughter, Virgie Carr. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Vaughn and Carolyn West, Vester and Wanda West. all of Lake City,
Virdith and Ruby West, Virgil West, all of Cleveland, Ohio., daughters, Virlie Yarber, Vada Poore, both of Lake City,
Mrs. Gary (Vivian J.) Mosley, Frost Bottom, Mrs. Clyde (Venna) Mowery, Cleveland, Ohio., sister, Ollie West, Lake City, 28 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, stepchildren, Louise Johnson, Mae Davis, Mary Bullock, John Yarber, James Yarber and Jessie Carroll. Funeral service was Saturday at Westside Baptist

Funeral services for Jess Hall Yarber,56,were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Farmers Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Schubert and the Rev. T. R. Martin officiating. Mr. Yarber died Thursday at 5:05 p.m. at his home in Lake City. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Yarber, sons, Dewey Yarber of Clinton, John Leo Yarber of Cleveland, Ohio, daughters, Lousie Johnson, Jessie Carroll, Mary Bullock all of Clinton, Rosie Mae Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio. father and step-mother, Mr. and Mr. John
H. Yarber of Dayton, O, brothers, Rufe and Clyde Yarber of Clinton Rt.2 half-brothers, Morgan of Ohio, and Elmer of Kentucky, half-sisters, Thelma Rummel of Ohio, and Pauline Payne of Michigan, five step-sons, five step-daughters.12

Funeral services for Mrs. Leo Elsie Yarber,53,of Clinton Rt.4.South Clinton. Were held at 2p.m.Tuesday at the Farmers Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Shubert officiating. Burial was in church cemetery. Mrs. Yarber died Sunday night at Baptist Hospital, Knoxville after a long illness. Survivors include five sons, James S. Yarber, Washington, D.C. Gene Yarber, Middletown, R.I., William J., Watson H. and Marvin D. Yarber, all of Clinton, four daughters, Mrs. Julie Golden, Andersonville, Mrs. Peggy Lindsey, Powell, and Miss. Survivors are her husband, Jesse Yarber, daughters, Mrs. Dewey Bullock, Mrs. Vernon Johnson, Mrs. George Carroll all of Clinton, Mrs. Luther Davis Cincinnati, Ohio, sons, Dewey James Yarber of Clinton, John L. Yarber of Cincinnati, sister, Mrs. Martha Foust of Michigan, brothers, Earl, Dewey, Alonzo and Robert Foust, all of Clinton Services were held Tuesday at 2p.m. at the North Clinton Baptist Church. Sam Yarber,58,died Saturday morning at 3:30 o'clock at his home on Moore street. He suffered a stroke Thursday. He is survived by three brothers, Matt Yarber of Coal Creek,
Fred Yarber, Clinton, and Dave Yarber of High Point, N. C. Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. H. L. Smith officiating. Burial in Sunset cemetery. Pallbearers, W. A. Brown, E. A. Hollingsworth, H. O. Scruggs, P. L. Gentry, Glenn Rutherford and Worth Miller. (donated by Susie Bullock [email protected] )

W.R.Yarber Dies At 63 In Hospital.
William Rufus Yarber, who died Jan.15 in the Knoxville Baptist Hospital, was buried in the Farmer's Grove Church Cemetery. The 63-year-old-man lived on Clinton Rt.4.and was formely empolyed at Daugherty's Furniture Co. Mr. Yarber is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leo Yarber, four daughters, Mrs. Jewel Golden, Miss. Ruby Yarber, Miss. Peggy Yarber and Miss. Betty Jo Yarber, five sons James Yarber, Virginia and Gene Yarber in Connecticut, Watson, Marvin and Bill Yarber all at home. two half-brothers, Tom and Elmer Yarber ,two half-sisters, Thelma and Pauline, father, James Yarber, seven grandchildren. The Rev. Ralph Shubert and the Rev. Wayne Province officiated at the funeral services held for Mr. Yarber at the Farmer's Grove Church. Holley Funeral Home was in charge.
