Anna Mae Jones

Anna Mae Jones, 67, of Lake City, died Friday, May 1, 1998, at Methodist
Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Harold
Jones; three sons, Steven Jones and his wife, Gail, Ronald Jones and his wife,
Deborah, and Jeffrey Jones and his wife, Peggy, all of Dayton, Ohio; and a
sister, Gloria Faye Burris and her husband, Ben, of Lake City. A graveside
service was to be held at 10 this morning, May 4, at Campbell Memorial Gardens
in LaFollette with the Rev. Larry Watts officiating. Cox-Martin Funeral Home

Mae Jones
Mae Jones, age 89 of Toledo, OH, formerly of Briceville passed away Sunday,
December 5, 2004 at the Harberside Nursing Home in Sylvania, OH. She was a
member of the Laurel Branch Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death
by husband, Hughie Jones, daughter, Wyvonne Wright, and parents, Mitt and Lucy
Bullock Hatmaker. Mrs. Jones is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Morris
and Mary Jones of Temerance, MI.; Grandchildren: Melanie and Wade Cause of
Panama City, Fl., Teresa and Don Rogers of Neptune Beach, Fl., Julia and Wes
Huff of Toledo, OH., Jeannie and Eric Crey of Springfield, MO., David Jones of
Tomerance, MI.; 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and
friends. Funeral services will be at 8PM Wednesday, December 8 at the Laurel
Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Archie Seibers officiating. Interment will be
1PM Thursday in Circle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8
PM before services at the church Wednesday. Martin Wilson Funeral Home is in

Restaurant Man Dies In Hospital
Virgil Jones, 57, of Oliver Springs died Monday morning at Oak Ridge
Hospital. He operated a restaurant in Oliver Springs and formerly operated
the Willow Grove Cafe on Highway 61.He is survived by his wife, Arizona, one
son, Jack Jones, two step-sons, the Rev. Ellis Patterson and Frank
Patterson, both of Oliver Springs, one grandchild and four
step-grandchildren. Services were held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist
in Coalfield with the Rev. Luther Wilson, the Rev. W. L. Wilson and the Rev.
McMurray Roberts officiating with burial in the Jackson Cemetery. Sharp
Funeral Home, Oliver Springs was in charge of arrangements.
