On our first trip to the area, we swam with the dolphins at Xcaret Park. The park is so beautiful, we returned for a second visit that same week!
So, on our second vacation to the area, we decided to try the resort attached to Xcaret Park - Grand Xcaret. We love it!
Now we walk to the park and get a reduced entry fee, including one free visit with every stay. We especially enjoy floating the Underground River, which offers crystal clear water and shade with a lot of natural light. No fear of sunburn!
Jim also enjoys the snorkeling. And I like visiting the sea turtles, which Xcaret has in a variety of sizes and species in their effort to help the endangered reptile. We both love watching the dolphins, and soaking in the sites, sounds and smells of the Caribbean.
