Yamaha REV100- owned from June 2001- present, partial trade for Kawai XD-5

This is a basic effects module- 99 presets that are slightly editable from the front panel, and more in depth editing via midi controller data. I have yet to use controllers to edit as I just recently found a manual online and at the moment there's some sort of unresolved problem with my computer's midi.

There are reverbs, 20 true stereo reverbs (these are the only ones that use the stereo inputs), gated reverbs, delays, delay/reverb combinations, and modulation/reverb combinations. The modulation effects consist of chorus, flange, ensemble, leslie, and panning effects.

The panel controls differ depending on what effect type is selected but generally it's pre-delay and decay for reverb, delay time and feedback for delay, and mod amount and mod intensity for modulation, and the level knob controls the modulation/reverb mix (it doesn't do anything useful for the other effects as I recall). With midi editing, more interesting things are possible- filtering, and stuff like that. Still, it's not fully-editable, which is a shame.

Inside, the CPU is a Hitachi H8, and two custom DSP chips do the effects processing.

The sound is a decent enough, and there is a pretty good variety among the presets. But I don't really like it because it's not editable enough. I rarely use it now.
