The clothing of Greeks was loose and flowery. Garments were often not
sewn together and were made out of wool or linen. The clothing for men
and women was not very different. Women wore ankle-length dresses,
while men wore knee-length dresses. Clasps or pins were used to secure
the clothes and belts or sashes would be worn around the waist.
